Checking in from Saipan, NMI. I enjoy watching spearos from different parts of the world shoot different species than the ones I usually encounter. I just wanted to say that the voice over really elevates the content you put out. Hearing your thought process, info about the species you shoot (or just encounter) is the a big reason I subbed. Also, your aim is not too shabby judging by that beauty of stone shot.
Thanks a lot mate, appreciate it. I try to share a bit of info to help other divers out. I'm certainly not the most experienced but I have learnt a few thing over the years and hope to share it with the newer divers. Thanks for the kind comments, helps me know I'm on the right track
awesome stuff! vThey are quite challenging fish. I love how the small gold spot tried to take one for the team when you lined up the second big one. Great video loved the voice over and slo mo shots
Brilliant brother see where you hit that Spanish mackerel on the lateral line at the end of the pectoral fin 👏 my day would target that spot everytime on Spanish.
Thanks John, stoked you are loving the content mate. I can try and make them a bit longer while keeping them interesting. I was worried the grouper was going to grab it to, 😄 I remember you telling me where your dad shot spanish, I also saw it in a youtube vid. I have been loosing them to sharks so I'm trying to shoot them all there now.
On the east coast of Aus we do, I'm not sure about the Northern Territory. Western Australia has no ciguatera though. In Qld where I live, certain species are no take due to a higher risk of ciguatera poisoning. One of my friends ciguatera poisoning last year. Not a good time!
How do you find diving out that way? I Used to do spearfishing a few years ago and looking to get back into it. Doesn't seem like anywhere else to go nearby besides out off Hutchis etc?
Moreton Bay is good in winter if you can get visibility. Heaps of reef off Moreton and Stradbroke. There is reef all the way up the sunny coast from the top of bribie island all the way up to double Island Point. There is so much ground to dive and explore mate.
@@DownDeep cheers bro, I'm usually out there trolling for Spanish and what not, been seeing heaps of lads diving lately! Giving me the itch. Keep up the good work mate
@@Wilso94 cheers mate, yeah get back into it! We have a club on the sunny coast if you are interested. Sunny coast skindivers. Best way to find some dive buddies.
@@DownDeep legend. Will definitely check it out, just trying to get my fitness back for diving again! Been back at the pool for the past couple of months. Might see you around mate. Cheers

They move unpredictably so it's hard to line up on them I reckon.
Haha, that small one was oblivious to the danger🤣
Glad you liked it mate🙂
