      Caleb Hooper Do you have the Barbershop or Citrus scent? I just ordered the Barbershop scent and I can’t wait to try it.

    Cameron A I just got the nostalgic super water based today and it’s pretty much perfect, only using 1 scoop I got great hold and the clean cut citrus scent is A1!

    Watching your reviews, really makes me feel like i wanna try most of the products you put on display. But! Since i live in Greece, most of the products (like this one) are not available, and we have to pay a fortune for shipping costs (which makes the purchase nearly impossible). My question is this: Since you are in the market and you know all the "tricks in the house", do you know if there is a supplier here in Europe who gets all the American stuff you guys have?
    p.s: Keep up the good work and always stay heavy \m/

    Hi Cam, I know you apply pomade in damp hair.
    For me it is also the best way.
    However, Some pomades harden like gel type pomades.
    I was wondering if UWB pomades This one or crystal lake harden like gel type pomades also or do they stay soft?
    Cheers

      @darkjord5823 6 років тому

      Kurt Troch they don't harden like gel at all. This one is really nice as it leaves your hair airy

    My hair is curly/wavy and I recently purchased Blackship (unorthodox waterbased) and I was disappointed. I really wanna try this but I'm kinda iffy on giving unorthodox waterbased another chance. I like Layrite Superhold because it's perfect for my hair. Would you recommend anything similar to Layrite Superhold?

    • @bazookajoe3883

      Vernal Chahal have the same problem Brodie your best bet is to stick to water based pomades

    • @asimplefarmer

      I have curly/wavy and coarse hair. I use Nostalgic Grooming SUPER water based and it’s great. Better IMHO than black ship.

      Vernal Chahal I have this pomade and has curly wavy hair too I mean it’s good but it’s not gonna hold you’re hair

    • @christoffelmiddel6663
      @christoffelmiddel6663 6 років тому +1

      I use Locharts heavy, it's a little tug and pulling on dry hair but on Damp hair it's perfect, it has a nice hold not a lot tug and pulling when combing and the shine is matte so it doesn't look terrible.

      Vernal Chahal Percy Nobleman is quite nice for a water based pomade, really smooth texture and holds very nicely too.

  • @SalandFindles
    @SalandFindles 6 років тому +6

    Man, you should just let your hair grow for at least 6 months to 1 year straight without any cuts or trims so you can have that big pompadour like you had in 2015. 😢 Pomade just does nothing at all on short hair. 😫
    Also, did anybody else notice this video is mirrored/reversed? Everything's backwards!

    • @Yeswecaen
      @Yeswecaen 5 років тому +1

      Bullshit dude, pomade on "short hair" work.
      If by short hair u mean "2mm", obviously, all the product do nothing against that, but if u have something like 4/5/6cm on the top, it's fine, the pomade work and it's not "long hair".

    Are you a greaser or do you just like doin your hair

    • @SalandFindles
      @SalandFindles 6 років тому +9

      +Andrew Lewis He's not. He has little to no qualities that makes up what a greaser is, like those of us actually in the greaser scene. He used to have a pretty awesome pompadour, though, before he shipped himself off to Africa for 2 years (Go check out his older videos). Sometime back then, he said he wasn't really into the rockabilly scene and recently, he stated that he was more of a metalhead than anything. So yeah, he's pretty damn far from being a greaser.

    • @SalandFindles
      @SalandFindles 6 років тому +2

      +Disabled Greaser I'm not a pompous elitist. I don't consider myself better than anyone. I am, however, a realist. You should go watch KrypticArt's video about posers. He explains it in more detail than I care to, to simpletons. Cameron isn't a greaser. He doesn't even have a pompadour or any other '50s hairstyle at all anymore. He doesn't dress the part, act the part or even live the lifestyle. He doesn't even like rockabilly music. He never was a full greaser back in his pompadour hairstyle days.

    • @pomadesandpompadours6309
      @pomadesandpompadours6309 6 років тому

      +Disabled Greaser I'd have to disagree with you. SalandFindles is right. Just dressing up as a greaser and doing your hair as one doesn't qualify you as a greaser, even Kryptic Art himself said that. To be a greaser, you shouldn't only have to do your hair and dress like one, but also must show the same appreciation of things that greasers do as well, which is why it is a subculture. A whole subculture is not built around people who dress in a particular style but also a culture built around it, so that everyone in the subculture shows an appreciation for the same things. To be a greaser, for example, loving the music is a must, such as rockabilly and doowop.
      If your argument is correct, then people who only do their hair and dress like greasers, such as models for magazines, for example, yet are completely clueless and ignorant about the 1950s are real greasers too, which as we all know, are only literal posers because they're just posing for the photoshoot.
      Also, why are you so salty about Salandfindles saying that he's not a greaser? I just don't understand.

      +SaladandFindles I agree with everything you said except for the part when you said that Cam doesn't have a 50s hairstyle anymore. He now sports a contour, which is still a 50s/greaser hairstyle. I myself sport one.
