@@SelfSuckGiraffe yes it's true only the most elite classically trained musicians are capable of the coveted "move the chair to the beat" technique. People have studied this for years and never figured it out.
It's really important you put your leading foot forward whilst leaning into the pull so as to ensure you're utilizing the chair's maximum capabilities, this is something that most chair enthusiasts misunderstand when attempting to play such a difficult song. This is a beautiful rendition of a difficult song played by an equally as difficult musical instrument.
I just started learning how to play chair, I can tell you have been playing for years! Your playing is so natural and confident. I'm hoping one day I will learn to play chair well enough for a live performance.
tip: if you ever listen to this song in a car, you can make the sound with your finger on the window. having a can to tap on makes it even more immersive.
I always thought it sounded like the metal laundry chute in my house growing up. Specifically when a huge pile of clothes went down, creating a suction and causing the sides to warp
this brings back amazing memories from a sleepover i had about 2 years ago with a couple of buddies in high school where we played this game where we had cups, or any movable object, and we put on alberto balsam and we had to move it to that exact sound, it was suprisingly hard but fucking hilarious , i really miss those days.
Absolute genius. Was always my favourite instrument in this song. I can just imagine the dinner parties where you say how proud you are of your child who is a chair player in the orchestra.

this chair is perfectly tuned
I think the screws need to be tuned a little higher.
I think that Aphex Twin used a slightly out of tune chair, so if you're looking for a perfect cover you'll have to bring the chair up a quarter step

Its important to stay limber while playing the chair, as one could easily fatally injure themselves or others.
