In the case of someone whose name I will not say, she has no idea what those two words mean. As class, she never had it, never will. Now Catherine our beautiful Princess Of Wales, she oozes it. That smile of hers lights up the whole world, I got so emotional seeing her at the tennis tournament, she was absolutely stunning. Had it been the other one showing those shark teeth, one would have heard the theme from jaws. I've said that a few times, but each time she does that Rictus grin that is all I hear. She always manages to hone in right where the camera is, never misses a beat. They give me the shivers, the eyes are the windows to your soul and I wonder if she has one.

Well, if true seems William thinks they should be done away with. Bowing is a sign of respect and trying to destroy others having respect for other people isn't going to end up well. Look at the Markles to see what happens when you are constantly told you are the equal of others and others should respect you as a result, didn't turn out very well for either of them (in fact it ruined them, and both parents should be ashamed though one is gone and I don't think the other realises he's to blame even now) and William needs to look hard at his brother and sister-in-law and see where that attitude leads.

Often men simply nod their head rather than bow from the hips. For women, a curtsy, originally designed for women in long, flowing skirts, can be awkward if not done correctly or if the person is elderly, weak or is wearing the wrong attire (tight skirt, pants, etc.). I think woman either bowing or curtsying is sufficiently modern; yet respectful.

I have actually seen video of the Queen showing feelings and even glee at sporting events. Of course horsing events where she had flesh in the game, but I recall a certain Braemar games where she got quite excited. She knew to have a stiff upper lip when it was needed, she did not lead with her heart on her sleeve, good leaders dont. William has been tested many times and has shown he can do this. I have no real feelings about the curtsy thing, but then I’m from Canada, however I trust the Prince will find the right balance. The Queen was very wise and let’s not forget she trained him herself. I am certain he discussed these ideas with her over the years, and with his father. Trust him.

@@mbd6054 I didn't mean to suggest that Charles is not a loving or kind father. Of course, he is. But Charles was more reserved in showing affection, perhaps due to a more structured, Royal upbringing.

@@maryoleary2037 All the evidence is to the contrary. Charles was in no way reserved in showing affection to the boys, either publicly or privately, as is very well documented in umpteen videos and photographs online, and in numerous books, with the one exception of Harry's book. Harry did try to portray the King as reserved, but like much of Harry's book, his memory seems to have failed him in that regard as well.

I like the fact our, Prince William, and our beautiful English Rose Catherine, Princess of Wales, shows their three gorgeous children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis, love, support, and empathy, which is very important in children's lives, it gives them confidence, and stability. Although I think our dashing Prince William should stick to the Royal tradition of people curtsying to them, after all, after our beloved King Charles and Queen Camilla, our dashing Prince William, and our beautiful English Rose Catherine, will become our British King and Queen, and they are worthy of curtsying to. 🌹 ❤🇬🇧

I think Prince William wants others to feel equal when in his presence. He has no ego and is very humble and down to earth so clearly it's a beautiful reflection on him. He may be going through the way of the RF in Denmark and wanting to make is less formal and stuffy and adopt a easier way of interactive life moving forward for future generations. Initially he never wanted the role he eas into but has accepted the role out of respect for his late grandmother and earlier generations before him. I think he's making the best of his situation and adapting it to allow him and his family a sense of more freedom and normality. It's certainly a big burden and responsibility he has been born into
