Incredible! I thought this was a render at first. I used to make construction paper set models when I was little. Then started making working sets in Little Big Planet on PS3/PS4. I still love set design and watching impressive elements float into place really taking you into that world. I made a full working Wicked set in LBP. I couldn’t publish it because only I could work the levers to change out sets and lighting. I only showed to one online friend who was big on musicals and to my parents who had seen said musicals. I also did Hairspray (was fun because the colors, shapes, wall of lights), Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins (has fun making a working “pop-up house” like in the touring production and a full more detailed house like the broadway/west end productions. Also loved making the Jolly Holiday dark grey park then with a switch changing to a colorful vibrant “wonderland”). Phantom of The Opera was my most faithful and detailed. Had a working chandelier that put itself together and crashed, full masquerade stares, the scene transition showing the entire opera house facade from the Vegas version of the show, all three Operas, Christines dressing room, managers office, graveyard, rooftop, and the Phantoms Lair with slowly rising candles and gate. My one other musical I did an completely original set design for Chicago. Rather than one set I created detailed sets for every scene inspired by the movie. Every set would transition from realistic to show number. Some were simple light changes while others were a transformation into the fantasy element. Razzle-Dazzle looks like a realistic courtroom then would stretch and become circus like with trapeze and lights. All I Care About is Love would go from cell block to a lavish sparkling set with draped curtains and large plumes of feathers and a lit up glittering staircase. Anyways... I highly compliment you on your work. Been watching your other videos now too. Subscribed a while back after seeing you Aladdin sets. Keep up the amazing work
My family just visited NYC recently in February and got to see me and my brother’s first Broadway show and it’s exactly as if I was rewatching it all over again! Bravo on such brilliant work! 💚
I think the coolest thing in musical wicked is the stage setting because everything is automatic. Is there a device on the prop or underneath the floor? Or does it depend on props?
This is amazing i dont know if the lights are projections but taking all this time making all this. am so speechless please keep up what your doing because all of your 1.36k subscribers love it even i love it
Fantastic, compliments ... you did a wonderful job! Just great! Admirable work! You must have loved this musical for sure! But your technique is excellent ... not to succeed!!! Congratulations - I wish you the best success you deserve...
I wish I was as patient and talented as you, good job on all the stuff you do, also do you think you could do the full show of wicked with your wonderful model? I just love this it's so amazing.
That wizard head is incredible!
The fact that you even nailed the subtle color tints of Elphaba and Glinda's individual spotlights...
I started laughing when the hand came out because I imagined a huge hand reaching across the stage to open a curtain
I can’t believe how accurate it is, even the gobos match the ones in the show
This is so good, please do the full show, please
