VSBS1000 Stroke Sander Trial Run

A work in progress, should end up with capacity to sand a 4ft x 8ft surface when it's done. Currently running a 4" x 20ft abrasive belt, should handle a 6" belt no problem. Max speed seems to be around 4000 feet-per-minute, considering different pulleys to get it up closer to a mile per minute...

Running it a bit fast no? I would worry about burning the metal on high spots. Used to sand stainless steel on one. Was a danger if the paper was running too fast.
