We thought you might like a look at this very well-preserved 1950 Mercury 8 Sedan. It's powered by the original 255 Flathead V8, backed by a 3 spd manual transmission. It's showing 32,xxx miles on the odometer and is in remarkable condition for it's age. We hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

My mom drove one of these to high school in 1956. She could fit the entire cheer-leading team in that car!
It's nice to see an original unchopped Merc like this. It's got it's own charm.
Thanks for taking a look, we appreciate it!
It's not ruined like the rest!
Super sweet Merc, brings back memories of the 50 Merc I had back in 58. Was a great ride.
These Mercurys from 1949 to 1951 were the best looking cars sold at that time in my opinion. It is hard to even find a picture now of one that isn't chopped and lowered. This is one beautiful car Jeff, thanks for sharing !!
A very nice looking Mercury. Thank you for the walking tour.
Thanks for watching!
I owned one in 1967 my senior year in highschool. Loved the back seat at the drive-in😎.
Great looking car. And it's refreshing that it hasn't been chopped. You get tired of that look. Thanks for showing!
The 49 - 51 Mercury was the looker. Better looking than the Fords or the Lincolns of the time.
This car was a hot item when I was in high school.
It was the first car that my Dad ever owned. He said he blew out first gear trying to do burnouts. They definitely make nice looking customs too.
This car was how before I go to school
I love that interior! buttons and toggles everywhere, its like a space ship. low miles too, wow..
Yeah, that dashboard is really cool. Thanks for taking a look Murray!
It is a nice car ...The interior looks all original
Very cool , first car I drove as a kid was my fathers 51 Mercury 2-door that he dropped in a 312 and 3-speed on the floor.
Sounds like a cool car. That was a perfect engine swap for it.
It's a rare Mercury being a factory stock car. It's in beautiful shape.
Thanks for taking a look at it. It is rare to find one that has been left alone these days.
@@RamblinAround It maybe the only 1950 Mercury that nice that is still stock.
Super sharp Merc. Ready for the road!
It really is a beauty, thanks for taking a look!
When I was a kid I made a plastic model of a 49 Mercury, like you said a chopped top. Cool car and ride.

I agree it's damn nice to see an old Merc that hasn't been molested. Electric fan on a 6V car? That will have me scratching my head for a while.
Jeff I appreciate you putting up this great video. I love these 50 Mercury sedans. I remember them as a kid and they were beautiful cars. Even stock the flathead V8's had a nice sound to them. The 50 Mercury is one of my dream cars to own. Take care Jeff.
Glad you liked it. Thank you for watching, I appreciate it!
Very nice. Piece of artwork on 4 wheels.
Thanks for checking it out!
Nice car most of your cars are really nice like the 62 thunderbirds you have
The flathead V8s did have a inherant over heating problem due to the exhaust flow in the engine block. The two rear cylanders ran hot and would often burn exhaust valves...and they wold vapor lock often.
Thanks Debbie Downer.😄
A very 😎 😊 cool car it is awsome i love it motor wow thanks jeff and Jordan for this video 😊😊
Looks in tip top condition. Very nice motor :)
Thanks for taking a look my friend!
My father had one! Nice car!
This is exactly the same as my first car. I was too young for a driver's license so I just drove it around the farm. My father had a 1950 coupe in blue. My first road car was a white 1959 Ford convertible I bought for $200 in 1965. If I had only known what they would be worth today.
Nice Merc Jeff. It's always nice to see one that's original and not lead sledded out!!! 😃
It really is great to see one left so untouched. Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!

When I see these, I can only ever think “police car” rather than “chopped roof”
Sheriff cars in real life?
Hello nice looking car, is it for sale ?
Man I would wish they'd let you a start-up and drive. Am sure you have driven a lot of business their way with you videos.
I'm sure we'll work something out with them. Thanks for watching!
How much? Will travel!
Got the cash, where should I bring it?
Chop Chop Chop! Chop ! Chop!
No, No, No, No, No... Not many left in original condition!
