Yeah it’s crazy Donnie. I’ve only heard good things and how they come out like razor blades but mine was super dull! Oh well they made it right. I’m glad that no one came in awesome! 🤙🏻
I got one sent by mail, opened the packagr and took a look at the knife. I couldn't believe that something could be done so poorly. My conclusion was that Condor knives are made by the visually impaired and blind people in a workshop with no light, and the QC is performed by an one - eyed man. The sheath is nice, though.
I've had mine for 2 years. Using it as a hatchet, as a draw knife, and belt knife. Mine came perfect, even had a nice edge on it. It took a few months for the sheath to loosen up. But for the money, this is the best Bowie knife out there. I forced a patina on my blade as well as keeping it oiled
Mine was great. It goes with me everywhere. From the back yard on my homestead to out hunting chopping sectors of fire or clearing brush to get to downed game. It works great!
An unfortunate reputation of Condor. You have the right to be pissed bro! I have gotten a few dull BUT! I love to sharpen so me personally I don’t mind. I am not happy but I don’t mind.
They do have problems over at Condor Tool & Knife 🤔⚔️🤔 So I'm not surprised mine and one other has had a issue out the box also and I should have sent them back because I got them from Amazon also , but I have learn cense then, if it come from Amazon with a issue it goes back. 😎🎱😎
I’ve just ordered a second because I loved my first one so much even though it did have blemishes on the blade as you alluded to. Your handle is beautiful, mine has those condor glue stains around the rivets also and after I accidentally forced a patina on the blade whilst trying to remove rust and causing the patina onto all the scratches on the blade and making the entire knife look really feral. I still love this knife that much along with the sheath and with my firstborn on the way and needing to save lol, I’ve still just purchased a second after all this time just so I can have that clean shiny blade. Hoping it’s got a decent edge from the factory that I’m going to score but I know condor isn’t the best for edges.
Yeah man. Condor is hit and miss with their knives. I’ve been hearing that a lot. My second one that I received came razor sharp and in pretty good condition. I recommend buying from Amazon because there are no questions ask replacement and you don’t have to pay for shipping or anything else so you can keep trying new blades until you get a good one. Congratulations on your first born and Thank you for subscribing. Hope your next blade comes like it should! 🤙🏻
I have been very lucky with Condor, every blade i have ever gotten a dull blade from them, but I have to say that I have heard that people are getting blades that aren't even medium sharp, I hate when good people have bull shit luck like this, keep us posted brother,
I forget which Bowie manufacturer that I purchased from but the sheath was extremely tight and the blade was dull. I sharpened the blade then tried to put in the sheath and came out the side and cut me good.So before sharpening get it to fit,one way is wrapping the blade with wax paper .let it stretch for a couple days and slide in and out to slicken the in side. That is a reason I think that they send out a dull blade ,the sheaths are to tight.
I have been very dissapointed with a few condor knives. I really like tops knives for big ol blades. Sometimes they need a little sharpening but they are great users.
What's up brother great vid glad hear u gonna branch out more no matter how many times it's been done until its done by u it hasn't been done by u yet u have a great knowledge and eye for knifes I always like hear your take on em appreciate the honest reviews 😀 👍
