Could Nick Knight also interview some legendary stylists about their experiences working with Steven Meisel or other photographers? It would be interesting to hear what they have to say.
Hello ThePaigeBen, there is already a sister project to Subjective called Transformative,on SHOWstudio, where I interview stylists , hair dressers and make up artists. It has only just started but it's certainly scheduled to interview the great stylists. Also check out In Fashion as there are already interviews in that series with stylists , like Simon Foxton and Amanda Harlech. All of these are on SHOWstudio. Thanks for your thoughts.
Funny hearing her perspective.. She came to me from a small agency in Manchester for her first test shots…. I was smitten and risked ruining my relationship with the Manchester agency Boss and rung Erin at Models One the next day telling her to get to Manchester and grab her as "Meisel will go nuts for her" was my prediction.( I have never pushed anyone before or since). Nobody liked her?! God Karen that is so far from the truth you were recognised as exceptional the moment you stood in front of a camera.

I never thought she speaks very well. I remember watching a video of her with Edie Campbell, the one in black and white and I thought she looked really ill and weird on that video. But watching this makes me think of her otherwise. Beautiful woman
Absolutely!!!!!....I lived that moment, I bought that magazine, I followed her astonishing landing and the following explosion of her career...and It's very very interesting watching her speaking about that, knowing her voice...It's as if one day aftercso long we could watch the hidden side of the moon!!!!...thank you soooooooo much!!!!!

I worked with Karen for a portrait of her in Vogue, shot at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood! She's lovely, and a blank canvas for an artist.

I get that. I love Karen as a model. But there’s been some that I just never understand. Like Giselle... never saw it.
