I had the JBL Flip 2, which sounded good before it died. I was really impressed with the Bose Soundlink Mini in person. It sounded cleaner and more focused, and impressive bass.
I have listened to and compared all these speakers and more. Bose has a sweet spot at around 70% volume where everything comes together and works, bass, mids and treble. You can run it louder, but the bass response gets cut to avoid distortion. Running at quieter levels boosts the bass response. Other speakers in this category may have flatter audio response but break down into distortion at high volume levels. Not a cheap speaker but better than anything else in this category of micro speakers when used within its limitations. Optional cases are available to provide weatherproofing or waterproofing for use outside or at the beach. Some other speakers provide this as standard. Listen to the Bose alongside the other speakers, there is no comparison when it comes to sound quality. Bose do digitally tailor the audio depending on volume levels. That may upset audiophiles looking for pure sound, but the fact is, it works brilliantly.
siran jeevi for sure Bose soundlink mini 2 is the king of all the size, beside the rich full bass, the high and mid are much more real if you have the latest version, i have two version of mini 2, they did some how improve the mid and high frequency much clearer
this is a bad review considering that he has the bose in the middle with both its speakers at the front and he has the jbl up against the wall and one of its speakers is up against the wall
NOAH ALAN BRIDWELL they aren’t but passives were meant to use vibration to create or enhance bass. With it against the wall it would still have an advantage throwing the bass further.

I always say the Bose is best at low to mid level volumes. It is an office or kitchen speaker. The jbl flip is best to throw in your bag play anywhere. I have the charge 3 now and love it. The pill , is forgettable.
I drive a Ford Transit Connect cargo van for work, and the Flip 3 is perfect. The left speaker in the van is blown and the right sounds terrible. I'm so happy with the JBL. It was $85 shipped on Amazon and the sale ends today.
Beats has 2 tweeter/midrange and 2 bass while Bose has 2 mid/bass. I tried both, Beats is louder, the highs a bit high overpowering the bass. Maybe take out one mid/tweeter. Also, consider the wattage of both speaker.
The Bose has a distorted bass 'tump' at higher volumes. It also sounds much more muffled than the JBL. Can't say anything for the Beats Pill as I've never heard that model in real life.
for Android users, Anker premium and Poweramp equalizer sounds incredible, at $40, it is an excellent bluetooth speaker, I own a sound link mini 2 and the Anker holds its own for a fraction of the price
I’ve had all of them and bose has been my favorite because of its sound. Jbl has more battery life, beats is just loud but doesnt sound smooth. but bose has better bass. Almost too much. I switched my itunes eq because of the bass. Sounds way better with “bass reducer”. Price wise bose is in the middle. Costco has it on sale for $129 most of the time.
Your so right i own a xb3 my friend got a second hand beats pill + it sound pretty dam good mids and highs are very clear at high volumes i mite try and find a cheap second hand one as well this vid didnt give beats the credit it deserves!!
I HAVE THE BEATS PILL + ITS WAY LOUDER BUT LOUDNESS DOSNT MAKE UP FOR CRAPPY SOUND THE BEATS PILL + IS CRYSTAL CLEAR EVEN AT LOW OR HIGH VOLUMES AND DESIGN IS A PLUS I LIKE BEATS PILL + BETTER THEN ALL THE OTHER CRAP HANDS DOWN AND THE BATTERY LIFE IS AMAZING
You people need to stop arguing about BASS all time, and start listening to the instruments you ear. Do they sound like they should ? I know there's a lot of bose haters everywhere, and Pills haters too, but let me say that the sax and cello in that demo sounds the worst on the JBL. EDM music, hip hop and dubstep will only tell you little about a speaker ability to reproduce sounds, but the kind of instruments like sax and cello are instruments with a large frequencies spectrum, from lows to highs, and the speaker that can reproduce these instruments the closest to the real thing is probably the speaker that's gonna sound the best with all kind of music. To me, the JBL is the worst of all 3. The Beats is not THAT bad. The bose is not that bad either.
For Apple users, Anker and Swhipy EQ app to tweak music sounds great, I still use an old iPod touch 4th gen with Swhipy with all my bluetooth speakers, music sounds full with rich bass
@@ezequielavila6836 yeah i guess ur right jbl is better anyways i feel sad making fun of pill its my speaker :( and my dad cannot afford one because HES BOT FAN OF IT so sad tho while my sister has charge 3...

It's so true. Check out Paul Mori. He's got really good vs vids with all three of these speakers and more. He knows what he's talking about too. (not to say this guy doesn't)
The Bose battery information at 8:22 is the for the bluetooth speaker, not the phone. Not unusual, you just got confused lol. The same thing happens with my Bose headphones. She says the battery percentage for the headphones, not my phone.
sooo... postition changes, and audio is captured with the phone mic? low frequencies at high level will surely distort a phone mic... the only thing that could be "usable" would be your own opinion from the experience of being there... and i say "usable" because it involves your experience, hearing capabilities and your own taste...
I own all three brands, a small wireless bluetooth speaker from JBL, Bose companion series iii from bose (mid range price) and soon to be owner of the Beats Pill +. Honestly my preference is the beats as it had awesome base, as others have stated it already, i rephrase that although bose is an outstanding rand, i just do not believe the design and sound is up to scratch, it sounds like the sound is muffled with a pillow. The jbl is good at pounding out sound, but at very high ranges it distorts. I prefer the pill + as it overall sums up as a better product.
I would rate it 8/10. the mids and highs are really on point. It can have some good bass which depends on the song and bass frequency. Design is 10/10 it is very snug in your hand and wont fall out. The cylinder shaped speaker is also really awesome because you can easily put it in a cup holder in your back pack or just slip it in your pocket.
+Romy Behar I would also give it an 8/10. For the price and size it gives you a lot of power. So I have the Bose and flip 3. If I was in the house, kitchen or bathroom I would use the Bose. If I was outside doing work I would use the flip. Load and rugged. But.... When the charge 3 comes out I will probably sell the flip 3
Bose sounds so clear and crisp at max volume the sound sounds so low at low volume because boss uses the best Technology and the bass sounds amazing so it's gonna be a little lower to keep the crisp clear sound
y'all can't say shit if you've never heard any of the speakers. let me say. my friend has a mini soundlink 2. I put full bass, full volume, and full phone volume. no distortion what so ever. it's sounds so clear. definitely beats any speaker at there
compre un beats pill para ver que tal sus productos, solo me dejo satisfecho el wireless studio 2.0 pero el beats pill no, me voy a ir a la segura por bose!
I like the beats pill+ because it looks good and sounds good I like the bose soundlink mini because it has good sound I like the jbl flip 3 because it has very awesome bass
SoundLink clearly has the clearest bass, the Pill is really muddy, and the Flip is too mid-heavy. But the flip clearly wins for cost-to-performance. Someday I'll shell out the money for a SoundLink, but I'm never wasting my money on any Beats product, even the headphones have mud where the drivers should be.

JBL FLip 3 is the best. Wait you need to compare the Bose and Beats to the JBL Charge 3 to be on the same level. The Flip 3 goes against the Bose Soundlink Color.
Can anyone tell me why people hate in beats so much besides saying it sucks. I want actual facts because all I see is people complaining but nothing to base the criticism on. I'm asking because I want to k ow why. And which one of the three is better the the other and why? Facts, not opinions. Although sound could be subjective. Thanks in advance.
James Howlett Couple years ago I had to make a choice between the Beats Pill 2.0 or the Bose soundlink Mini. After demo'ing both speakers in store, I concluded that Bose had better sound quality but my wife convinced me to buy the Beats Pill simply because we could accessorize it with those charming Pill dudes. In retrospect that was a 300$ mistake. Marketing, in a nutshell, is why Beats is hated. Our Pill broke within a month and the replacement Pill lags on almost every non-mobile device. (including Apple TV) It took a few years, but my wife finally had enough before Christmas and bought a soundlink mini 2 for our bedroom and we've been happy with that ever since.
Kello Kabana Thanks for the honest review. Much appreciate it. I went for the JBL due to a sale at Target. No complaints there, at least i didnt pay $300 so if it wasn't performing to my expectations i can just say "eh" and move on with life.
James Howlett well.... Beats pill plus are not bad speakers. They are slightly over priced compared the other big brands. I will admit they are not the best sounding speakers but they do the job pretty well and surprisingly the beats pill plus have better mids and no lows which is very strange for a company that is known for bass! Overall the battery life is better then the other two and the highs are more pronounced! But the Bose soundlink II wins on overall sound quality even though there the quietest amongst the other speakers.
The Soundlink Mini 2 wins in clarity but the JBL wins in overall volume. The Beats Pill doesn't really win with audio here due to distortion and lack of oomph the other two have.
Mikey Mancha Huh, the Soundlink Mini 2 only really sounded 'tinny' due to the corners the Beats Pill+ and JBL Flip 3 have to revertebrate sound, thus making the two have slightly fuller sound overall. I'm basing my statement having heard these three speakers myself beyond store demos with my own source device to play music from.
I had a bose soundlink mini 2 before.. I returned coz the sound is not loud enough.. I exchanged it with jbl.. Ever since that day, i told myself i will never buy a bose speaker again.
first off I agree the jbl sounds better /louder, to me the worst out of the three was the bose actually..it just sounds muddy to me,, and u are wrong about bose does sound best... its just the name that people go for, and actually JL does better sound then any company
+scamhealy A friend purchased the charge 3 and to be honest I was so disappointed because to me it was too bass heavy, but I know it's all about personal preference as I prefer a more balanced sound of mids, highs and lows. Look forward to your review though to hear your opinion.

Lazy. I have the charge 3 now and will compare the flip vs the bose vs the charge 3.

A friend purchased the charge 3 and to be honest I was so disappointed because to me it was too bass heavy, but I know it's all about personal preference as I prefer a more balanced sound of mids, highs and lows. Look forward to your review though to hear your opinion.
