My 72nd Birthday Trip To Beamish Via Kings Cross- York- Newcastle

- By courtesy of my son in law and daughter they arranged a trip to the Beamish Living Museum in County Durham for my 72nd Birthday.
It was so thoughtful of them to do this for me as myself and my wife had often spoken about the Beamish and how we would like to go there. Unfortunately after 3 and a half years of ill health and various operations she passed away in May 2016. She would have loved Beamish as she was a great Catherine Cookson fan.
The trip to Beamish began on Friday the 14th of April 2017 when with my daughter we travelled from Watford Jnc to Euston then Kings Cross to York for a swift visit around the Railway Museum before catching our train to Newcastle where we stayed the night at The Royal Station Hotel before going to Beamish on Saturday morning the 15th of April 2017.
It was an amazing experience for both of us to visit Beamish.
