Hillbilly Country!! Reminds me of where I grew up. Wish those cemeteries were maintained a little better. Thanks for the ride Stacie! Take care up there!
Definitely west Virginia you never know if your going to turn a curve and there be a cliff..I was born in w.v. mountains still have family. Looks like yall had fun. My dad was a dirt bike racer in areas like that..he was about to go pro and seen a buddy get killed and he was nearly part of the ones that ran over him so he slacked off and just done trick biking with his dog. Blessings
Thank yall for the great ride along. Sweet vid, has it all. Big ole like, THANK s to your husband or friend for the great vid as well. Good stuff brother👊
It really is a beautiful area. That was neat that you use to live across from the Cemetery. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.

Hey Stacie, I believe this was the best one yet. I loved seeing the cemetery with all of the history. When y'all were circling the water hole, I kept waiting to see if y'all went through it. One of the nomad channels that I watch was in that same area a couple weeks ago. Thanks very much for sharing. Merry Christmas, Calvin and Marie
I live 2 curves up the road... My papaw's grave is the 2nd one on the right when you get near the path to Ance's statue, He worked for Ance in 1916 as a mule skinner 's helper on a logging crew. He got killed in 67 , hit by a car,, I saw it happen , he was 64 and I was 12. I've been been hunting and making my own trails in these hills since I was 7 yrs old my papaw gave me my first 22 rifle when I was 7, and traded a pony for a 50 cc Honda mini trail bike. Bought by first Harley in 76 when I was 21. Still ride it ,, it's a 1953 Panhead. I'm 66. be careful out there.. In 1953 My other grandfather . I never knew ,,was killed in the # 15 mine at Stirrat, WVa. a few miles down the road..
This is really neat and a lot of history. I love learning about history. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I enjoyed it so much. I really loved that area. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Oh that's so interesting. I didn't know there was a Hatfield cemetery. I mean I guess they gotta be buried somewhere. That big mud hole looked fun to play in. You guys really seem to have a lot of fun doing these rides.
A group of us go to the Hatfield/McCoy trails every year, staying at Ashland Resort, I'd be curious to know if you can ride trails for the most part to get to the Hatfield cemetery.
@@StaciesCountryCooking I kinda thought it was further south, Maybe we can haul them down to a point, I'd really like to visit that area. Thanks! Be well!
Right up the trail from Devils backbone resort. You have to really look on the right side of trail. It’s down a hillside. We almost missed it. Thank you
It’s off the Devil Anse trail system it’s off a blacktop road. I can’t remember road number and it was accessible when we was there to the public. Thank you

Rumors have it that my grandpa caused issues with the hatfields or McCoys and somehow down the line, I may be related to them. Last name is Perrigan.
