I was so swept up in Robin's speech, that I momentarily forgot that she was making it up. The power of acting prevails, and Maya's delivery makes it so iconic!
I really love Robin and Nancy's growing friendship, it's so wonderful to see gals being supportive of each other, and not trying to tear the other down.
@@SamMito28 There's a commercial in Brazil that became quite popular where there's a slow zoom out while a narrator goes talking about a person, and highlithing great things this person has doneas the camera zooms out and shows news headlines of the guy's great achievements, and the more you hear what the narrator says about him the more you admire whoever the guy the narrator's talking about is. And then... it quickly zooms out revealing the face...... Adolf Hitler. And the narrator closes up by saying "You can lead people to believe in a lie, by only telling them truths". Point, he only said truths, but if we didn't know who Hitler was, we would believe the lie that he was a good guy.
I find it amazing how every character plays their own part in the big picture it may seem small but without this speech they wouldn't have known how to save max
I love this mini arc because it shows how well Nancy and Robin work together. They aren’t just following one or the other and both contribute greatly. Nancy was the one who found out about Victor and wanted to do research on him. Robin was the one who was able to find where he was actually located. Nancy was the one who made the papers saying they were in college to fool the hospital. Robin was the one who got them past this guy using her ability to not stop talking to her advantage. Nancy was the one who did most of the questioning when it came to Victor and her kind personality allowed him to open up more. Robin was the one who figured out that music is what saved Victor from dying and that it could save Max too. Nancy was the one who had the idea to run away when they got in trouble, allowing them to get the info to the team. I’m gonna say it. They are the ULTIMATE power duo.
that is sooo right! like nancy is good at being a doer and a hard-working, thorough thinker. robin is creative and a fast problem-solver, so she can put the pieces together.

Without this they would never have gotten access to see Victor and without access to see victor they would never have been able to find out about the music, so yeah, robin saved maxs life in a way
She was hot in season 3 but in season 4 her personality changed. Like they tried hard making her funny. She was already funny in season 3 but now she acts quirky, clumsy and nervous around girls especially Nancy on S4 for some weird reason.
When Robin says “we don't look the part” and he looks Nancy and she smiles it's soooo funny 😂😂😂 I love Robin she is perfect, funny and so wonderful!! Nancy's reactions are so funny as well!!
I thought she gave up pretending as someone who gives off academic vibes then boom i LOVE HOW SHE DELIVERED THAT SPEECH. I wonder how many takes they did for that
Maya Hawke said on Jimmy Fallon that when she gets nervous and excited, she talks fast as if she is Phoebe Buffay on adderall. I honestly do the same thing.😂 And Maya said since she talks like that, the writers decided to give her so much dialogue because they know she will get through it fast. So that's why Robin is talking fast here. The writers were basically having Maya express her potential on what she can do.
Pretty sure the “camp in 1978” line was an Easter egg from ‘fear street part 2: 1978’. Makes sense being that Ross duffers wife wrote the movies and they were all filmed in 2019, before they wrote the script for this season.
Gotta feel for Victor very sad what happened to him, and he was locked up for being insane when really it wasn't his fault, Vecna is a rat and destroyed his family/life
