MICHAEL: / . .
Christian gets a little "pushy" sometimes. Maybe it's all the passion or maybe it's because he's a Gary Vee fan. I get a little exhausted sometimes. But Michael, you're not trying to sell watches so it's much more relaxed and it's a nice balance to the channel.
too much selling with Christian
Lenny DeFinis, Christian gets too much “Christian”-he’s tiring.
OllieG Hamster I enjoy the content mostly. Wish he would dial the selling back.
top comment!
I like this new dude !!
Gary Vee is a pussy whipped bitch. I question anyone who takes him seriously.
I like the jokes
“No offense to Shinola, I just hate your watches” haha, good stuff
He kills me every time hahaha thanks for watching!!
that killed me too for whatever reason 🤣
Love what you bring to the channel it's quite refreshing and hope you get more videos
Thank you very much!!!!
Love when you host, keep it up
That's because you're a millennial doped up on Ritalin
@@mobrule5934 im sorry you go to the comments to hate, your life will get better if you try. Then you won't feel the need to hate on others to feel better about yourself.
He is a natural...
I like these Jeremy Renner hosted T&H videos
I was thinking young Edward Norton
The sarb story man... Right in the feels...
Thanks for watching!!
I kinda love this dude. Let's see more from him.
Absolutely an amazing video, keep it up man
Thanks Logan!!!!!
Michael! You need to start your own channel, I'd definitely subscribe!
I agree 100%!
He has one. He reviews heritage workwear clothes mostly. Same style and humor. Channel is called The Iron Snail.
And four years later people still agree on that. During Watches & Wonders 2023 he was on his own again
Love these videos with Michael--a great addition to the crew. You can tell that he is a truly passionate watch-geek, but he is also very down-to-earth, and this makes him feel relatable. I also think his pacing is perfect. He talks very fast, but you can still understand every word he says. I love this fast-but-clear talking---you get the info you need quickly, and it makes his little stories (which might have been a little boring if he talked slowly) delightful. Keep this man coming back...or better yet, do round table-discussions with all 3 of you (christian, anna, and michael), even if he has to be on webcam.
You are born for this! Love your content and you have a great voice! Can't wait for the history on Rolex video!
Really well done and the best I've seen from Theo and Harris. Genuine, to the point and identifiable. Fantastic!
Thanks for telling the story about getting your Seiko back. My first somewhat expensive watch was an orange dialed Seiko quartz dive watch. It was a gift from my parents when I graduated middle school. Quartz analog watches weren't all that common at that point much less ones from Seiko. It was purchased from a kiosk in a mall. They had other brands like Citizen that are now more respected. I remember the sales person was rather surprised that I wanted to look at the Seiko watches. I remember looking at one that had a red and blue bezel like a certain popular Rolex does now. I liked the orange dial one with the black bezel. I was never one of the 'cool kids' but I darn sure had the coolest watch in high school. I still wear it and and still smile when I see the deadbeat seconds action. It's actually got some collectors value from the research I've done. That doesn't really matter since I'd never sell it.
Excellent video!! Excellent watch stories. This is what I want to see more of, how you feel about the watches you've had your experience in the whole process. Good job!
Thank you!!!!!!
This is the 2nd time I subscribed to this channel. Thanks Michael!
Pleasure!!!!!!Thanks for the support!!!
This guy is brilliant!! Michael FTW, great (visual) addition to the channel.
I loved that you mentioned the importance of sentimental value and emotional connection with your watches.
I have been watching Theo and Harris since quite sometime now. But I have subscribed only after watching you.. You are gr8
I love your storytelling behind the watches. Thank you. I don't have great names like you and they're mostly the watches people hate, (Movado because I've always wanted one), and Must de Cartier vintage Art Deco Limited Edition, because Cartier IS art). However, I worked hard and bought them with my own money. Though many receive these type of watches as gifts I am proud to say I got them for myself. That being said, my next purchase will be a Nomos (cream face) and an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra! All in due time. Collecting is expensive! Thanks again for your video.
I have a SARB033 that I bought to celebrate a promotion I got at work. Even though they sell now for like twice what I paid for it, I'll never sell it.
Wow! Christian has so much to learn from you. I love your videos, you’re so relaxed... your stories are cool.
Down to earth and fun vid. Love the SARB story. Love mine too.
Man you’re awesome and hilarious and still delivering that useful information and dropping that knowledge! On fire bro keep going!
Outstanding 👍🏽
It would be so amazing to see a video of how your collection has evolved since this video, Michael! I'm sure others would be really keen to see too. :)
I like the way this guy tells stories, seems like a very genuine person. Keep up the good work
One of the best T&H videos ever!
Damn I love your hosting
This guy is really good.
What Santos reference is that? That thing is fucking gorgeous.
Your story is very touching. Tks for sharing
Excellent video, yo really connected with what I feel as a collector. Love your passion and that you chose to pursue your own tastes. Keep up the good work with T&H
Man you need to start your own channel!
Great video! I hope to see more of Michael in future videos.
AP
nice job! great episode!
Santos is great. That’s Gordon Gekko’s watch from Wall Street. That’s what made me get one! “Greed is good”
I have a sarb 35 and I feel the same way as you...thx
Good job man, keep them coming!
I finally figured out what is wrong with these videos: it's a person in their home talking into a camera like nearly every other UA-cam channel, except this one is obviously being filmed on an amazing camera with a great lens and someone who can actually focus it. Great video Michael, keep them coming.
Hey Michael, thank you for the video and the passion by which you present. Looking forward to more!
Very good video!Vintage Angelus!Chronoswiss!
Great video! Very nice of Christian to give you that chocolate dial UG, and thanks for including that anecdote in your narrative. It's indicative of what a classy organization T&H has become. It's a lot of fun to watch all of the T&H UA-cam content -- looks like you're all having loads of fun. Awesome job!
I don't know what the fuck it is but Michael is so damn likable.
I like this Mike way better than when and Christian made tandem video’s
Great episode, we need more like this! Keep up the good work T&H team
Great video I got tired of T&H videos not interesting anymore you brought me back. Nice! Watch out Christian..
By the time I buy a watch I’m already to the point that it will never leave. I’m sure I’ll make a bad purchase one day but so far so good.
This is such a wonderful video. I just wanted to continue listening to your watch tales. 😊
This guy rules. More of him
"Bro that watch is so big the guy next to you is wearing it, too" 😆
Bravo mate, love your contribution to the channel. Keep it up and I'll keep watching.
Brilliant video. 👍🏻
That santos though...😍
You got great presence, voice, intonation. Usually someone talking is completely boring I watched this vid to the end, it was really interesting, I share two of your watches including that Timex wear it to the beach.
My favorite watch guy on youtube!..
You should be in show biz, you got it all!
Love your videos
Really great vid, Michael. What kind of bracelet is on your Santos? Can’t seem to find it anywhere on the web
I love your hyper approach
Pretty neat how a cardigan produced by a small danish business specializing in fisherman's jumpers found it across the Atlantic and into your video
Great fun video looking forward for more 😀
Awesome content, u are natural with this. It wd be brilliant if u can interact with the viewers more on the comment section..
Glad to see you again
As a beginner collector this is so useful. Also there is always the risk of falling into the peacocking trap, getting something to impress even though it can result in a stupid decision.
Wow, you're so genuine and likable. Hope to see more videos.
Yes! My favourite person on the channel!
This guy throws good vibes. Keep the videos coming bro.
4:30 is where the tips actually start....
solid gold 38 for a sarby. flippin' legend!
Love it, love the flow and the pace. 8'12", 380 - slim fit hahahahaha
Great job, I like that you share your personal stories. Just slow down the talking beat
I like this guy . Do more videos please .
Great video! Welcome Michael.
Great vid, buy what you love and keep what you buy. I have my 1970's wind up sports watch, to a Seiko eco drive from the eighties. Both have so many memories. Now I have Tissot, Seiko, Gold Rotaries, and Rolex. These are just for interest and fun for now, lets hope the gain in the memories of my life
I like my taste in watches because I like the cheap ones. Not talking about some wallmart crap, but I absolutely have a weakness for minimalistic casio watches that usually go for 40 to 100 bucks. I can't flex with a high end watch but I can flex with my booming outfit with an awesome matching watch!
Collect what you can afford..collections can be built over time if you can afford a Rolex go for it..hell yea!! But if you can’t there is affordable seikos Hamilton’s orient Aragon collections are good on any level..
Hi Michael! I gasped while listening to your SARB story. I also sold my SARB because I needed extra funds for my new house. I convinced myself that I will move on to smaller watches instead. But I’ve always regretted it. I wore it to my Grandmother’s 97th birthday party, uploaded photos to instagram, and had fun with switching straps on it. Never tried buying it back though. ☹️ By the way, I’m also a sucker for un-round watch cases. 😉
Where is the Hodinke video link??
If u like interesting and weird designs take a look at Mb&f ,really cool stuff.👍
He’s knocked it outta the park again!!! Great video Michael. Great insight and loved the story about your SARB033, I don’t blame you for wanting it back. Nice job buddy keep them coming ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You got it!!!!!
"All hail Theo and Harris see ya next week". Absolute comedy gold
Thanks Tony!!!!!
Awesome vid man! Keep em coming
I’ve never been more content listening to an add. Christian is the man, but you should start your own channel dude. I’d subscribe.
Thx Michael
When are you guys gonna put Michael in the intro?
Enjoyed the take/personal story. good stuff!
Loved the story about the seiko
"No offense to Shinola I just hate your watches" lolol
Yaaasss!! Another Michael video!!
Love your videos!!
First real chuckle of the video, "...No measurements. Thank God since I don't remember how to measure my bust. I mean my chest..."
That out of the way I feel you had viable points. In my case I got into watches because of the military. So my idea on watch collecting is looking at affordable and functional peices. I had too many watches break on me and thusly I chose to be the more "this warch for this occasion" so to protect the more delicate ones. No, not all of my watches are the absolute best for the price, but they suit me. If you include my Pocket watch and a gift from my girlfriend I have six watches. In circulation I wear three of them, but that has more to do with why and what I am doing.
In order of common wear:
Citizen Solar Drive BM01800 (I think the ref number is). Daily/field
Cisco digital watch (forgot ref.) Workout/beater/work
Vostok Amphibia Orange Scuba Dude. Beater/sport/dive
Timex Marlin Reissue 34mm dress
The other two I rarely wear but will never get rid of. The pocket watch I occasionally wear.
I may add that watches are more for function than fashion but they are both a tool and fashion peice. And it's the last thing people look at unless they are into watches.
Where is the link you mentioned?
Dracula trying to be casual
Teen wolf trying to be casual
Dracula trying to be hipster. I bet you he only drinks grass fed humans.
timex expedition! that was my first watch!
This is so much better than Christian videos, and I like those, but this! Is the kind of watch channel I want to watch!
Great video!!
Love your video Mike! Good job!
I have the same timex expedition, it's so cool little watch 👍👍
I like vintage watches. Sure I know they're need service etc. For example my latest one is from 1955 a Swiss and a very historical Felsa movement.
The only watch people notice on me is the BBB/B. Women love it. I prefer my BB36, which no one else respects.
Awesome job hosting!
