It's fun playing with the Opsix's subtractive side. Put together a hack at the CS-80 pad sound in the Vangelis Bladerunner intro on the weekend and lost an hour or so....Another good video. Like the style of your supporting animation/videos as well. Very cool.
Excellent! I have only been using mine in FM mode and not using any of the other sound waves like saws or square, etc. Look forward to everything you come up with!
This is great! Just had my first experimentation with the opsix and had a blast but feel I need to get a handle on things a bit. Not much into digital/metallic sounds but the opsix capabilities added with the basic analog waveforms - im guessing I can find nice gritty, warm, and complex sounds :)
Yes, there is a 'master filter' before the effects, and you can set each operator as a filter too. And there is also a 'Filter LFO' effect, which you can use as a post-effect filter too if you turn down the LFO depth to zero.
I really appreciate your Opsix tutorials! I'm still trying to wrap my head around FM synthesis and your tutorials are an awesome resource!
Sweet 👍 Just happened on your channel as I have just purchased an Opsix ... Thank You

Thanks, I'm really enjoying these. I love my OpSix! One of the most under-rated synths in existence.
Thanks for helping me learn how to use this thing!
love these patch videos, awesome thanks!!

Great work! I really appreciate your tutorials. It would be interesting to show an instrument like the sitar or the koto with its own scales.
Nice. If only I could quit smoking.

Is the filter a block placed in front the effect processor where the output of the algorithm it sent or operators can be configured as a filter?

Can this record on the fly without the audience hearing the metronome and without having to pause the music?
There is an option to turn off the metronome, and you don't have to pause anything.
Cool vid. Love those tutorials.
What are the two chords you keep coming to ? 😛
Fm9 to Bb7
Hella random request, but I would hella appreciate an accordionish sounding patch?
That shouldn't be too hard. I'll give it a whirl.
