The most important thing is putting weird constipated faces in every slow motion snap
Those are “O” faces splooging bro brah. But whatever gets you off you know. All good.
Lol
You probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Justus Pierce instablaster =)
@Jordan Andre i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Ripping it had a buddy that passed away here about a month ago and I looked his name up on UA-cam and this is a video that came out kind of made me more proud of the friend that I had met he would’ve loved this
I'm sorry for your loss :(I'm
Reminds me of when I was a kid...... In the 1970s 🤣 this has been my style for the last 40years, never got into 50/50switchkickflipgrinds (couldn't do em) love it
Is there such a thing as a surf skate video that isn’t in freaking slow motion all the time? Surf skating is already slow. Why make it worse?!
They think it would look epic jajaj, maybe just for posers lol
because it looks bad in real time lol
THEY R DORK POSERS
@@nodorksshouldgrow3309 No they're not. This is the origin of skateboarding. It was invented by surfers. It's really fun to skate this way and it's a lot harder than it looks
No it's not slow.
Slow motion because cant do it fast. Straight up. This sk8 is more for looks. Posers theres plenty old school surf skating, fast and raw. Look you will find...
Surf Skating, or as they called it in the 70's.... "skating"
These look so much more fun to ride than a regular board set up.
Really? Go watch Pedro Barros, Rune Glifberg on a regular board.
It is. Ive skated park/street setups, then moved to longboards, and then surf skate.... its the best feeling ripping a surf skate tbh.
The boys are ripping hard, but too many slow-motions gets annoying for me.
This isn't "next Level" we were skating like this in Venice/Santa Monica way back.....ever hear about the Zephyr Skate Team...Jay Adams.....Tony Alva....Shogo Kubo etc.....We started skatin empty pools n banks....almost 50yrs ago..... St. Clements, Belagio, Kenter Canyon etc.......ya'll r on the lateshow
ur dad thatz the best fokin comeback for the real skate boys ..im in Scotland but watched you lot back in the 70's think i was 11 wen I got my first board 1976 fuck we loved your life style back then ...anyway great shout cheerz you've made a scotsman so fokin happy well done XXX
I don't even skate and I know who they are. However, no reason to be rude. These boys are very talented. Learn some respect.
@@ambercromer8284 mind ur bizness female
Ur Dad Lol, the gender I was given at birth is not an insult, but ok. And no. People acting as if they need a father instead of are one is my business.
Youre so right! Jay boy was my friend, unreal surfer longboard shortboard or no board!
They all go frontside on every turn
Not true.
But yeah... theyre not doin much.
Frontside is more spectacular. The surprise can be how much harder than backside it is, at least on a skateboard
Front side is a cooler shot
and also in slow motion seems..more..? the wall is pretty vertical though?
Cross the street
I love their faces!!! So much energy and action!!! 👏🤙
Me too! I tried the same thing at my skate park albeit with not much success, I then understood the power and technique it requires
Despite all the haters in the comments we think this is waaay rad.
Dude yess
@Rafael Iglesias Carvermout some tubes for sure.

So stupid is that surf skate sorry
If you can't surf you won't get it
Aaaaah that last little bit at the very end is best. It’s super hard to find a shredder on the big bowl with the surf skate in ANY videos. Hard as hell. Do more, make a vid, and wear pads so you don’t hurt yourself. Well done and thank you.
that cutting to the lyrics though
I m a skater...since 1988...and I think this kind of skateboarding is ridiculous... Maybe was good in the beginning of skateboarding... But know it looks just ridiculous...
Guys why are you not using protection equipment? that way you only look sexy for the death. By the way awesome session, I am going to acquire the Holy Toledo from my local distributor, thanks bros!!
Just grab a surfskate and do it. On a flat day or just have fun.
You will have fun and for sure would improve your surfing.
I saw it in myself and I am a 60-year-old man.
awesome video, however,.....not to hate but....... 2:40 my eyeeezzzzz.......
That ending was amazing, so much power. Keep bringing videos like this =D
wow... thats boring. G out and surf! And if you cant do go out n Snowboard. Even in the streets. This here in monotonous as hell... plus: you need the pools for that. Next!
Uhhhhhh yeahhhhh brutal combinación surf y skating saludos desde Venezuela
I'm sorry, I really do apologize but....I'd rather watch em surfing.
Love the video bro! I can't stop watching again and again! Awesome 😎🤙🏼#surfskate
Feels like something that would play at a mall kiosk
İ think without the Slow-Mo it would have been so much better. Like the clip at the end. İt showed what this whole thing is about.
Bad music, bad haircuts.
you can do all of that on a pair of indy 159.
so do it
La ultima parte re acelerada, se nota cuando el chaboncito termina hablando en la camara, como cambia la escena, te das cuenta al toque JAJAJAJAJA. Bien ahi igual, tienen un lugar genial para patinar
They're much better skaters than surfers
Yeah, "good" for the 70's
LOOK AT THE FUCKING THUMBNAIL TO THE VIDEO😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆LMFAO!!!!!!
Should have left the surfing out😂 stick to the concrete lads
correct arm position and body movement is very different between surfing and skating
bit more level n u are almost doing skate xD
Oh you mean a bunch of people that don't know how to actually street skate.. you can surf skate any f****** skateboard in the world..lol
Try it, it’s harder than it looks kook
Are you serious? This music? Man.....
Where are your videos with better music? You wanna pay the royalties for them to put on better music?
karizmaone ever heard of band camp?
@@bobbyjohnson8385 Bandcamp doesn't have copyright? UA-cam allows integration with Bandcamp music so videos don;t get flagged for using music without the artist's permission?
The thumbnail for the this video looks like your throwing a spear.
Slo motion is bogus.
Keep surfing and carving/skateboarding cruising separate. It's totally different. Besides those pools are meant to be grinded and to do aerials. I do both surfing and skating but this video is a shame to both sports. I get the marketing you are trying to do here but Jesus, wtf!
bruv you guys in ballina skateparl hahahaha xD
From the looks of this video the trucks seem to skate like normal trucks. Everything is this video could be done the same with "normal" trucks. I really don't understand how they are different. Please explain, I'm looking to purchase.
+FerreneMachine understand. However, no matter how loose your trucks are on a normal skate, you can't get this smooth transitions through the turns. Its the arc that you get from the bottom turn to top turn. You can really dig your inside rail into the turn, use your body to turn into it and drive through your turn. We are so confident about the surf feeling that we are willing to give you a brand new SmoothStar if you can replicate the same movement on a normal skate. Send us the video. The SmoothStar Surf truck has been around a while now and we sell a lot all over the world because the product is the closest feel to surfing outside the water. Hope this helps mate.
Its one of those thing where you just kinda get on one to feel it...
You get hella more dive in the front, and it feels like your pivot point doesnt exist (or at least isnt as harsh) in the front truck. Best way I can describe it is its like trying to make your front truck disappear as much as possible and let your rear wheels and bushings drive the whole show. Its watching it the difference looks kinda minimal but riding it is a whole other story
Hit me up if you want some better team riders. These guys are ok but you could have someone making your boards look WAY better. Just look at this comments section, 50/50 (if you’re lucky) people clowning/people stoking. You should have 90% people stoking. You’ll always have a few haters no matter what you do.
Love the surf Skatin' - I dig the video, just hate the song choice ! Keep ripping' dudes !!
As a skateboarder, i can verify. This shit is wack
We skate some of these parks...
@Carver Surf & barres yeah, we’ve watched that, dope clip.
Have you seen this:
ua-cam.com/video/eAT9d1wVhYg/v-deo.html
wtf xd there's more action in KONA's old videos
These are just cruisers lol. Skating transition but dull
Bro it’s the style of the board it’s meant to cruise around on and carve, like a surfboard, EMERY dumbass lol.
Where is this sweet park? (@3:11)
I tried this and it is a lot harder than it looks
that mallgrab tho
da illuminatigamer a ikr fucking posers I bet they can’t even skate
I've always loved skating bowls, by the time I started trying to air out of them I kept getting hurt and stopped skating. Now after finding out about these types of boards, I know I found my place in the sport. I can't wait to hit some huge transitions. Here in Sacramento, we have some huge bowls!
do you know where i could find a tutorial on how to do aerials in the bowl
In the bowl dork
nice video
This is Nimbin skatepark!!
So a carver board
Wow I need surf skate plssss
"Next Level"? This is shit we did in skateparks back in the 70s! What's so 'next' about it?
Wrong song
Now I want a fucking mustache
Joe Dirt shreds
WTF? So this is all about people who can't progress their surfing or skating past 1960's style. Nothing whosoever next level here.
It's actually the critical carving turns in the pocket that are like surf turns. It's also not putting your hand down on the ground to do the turn. The front mechanism called the thruster makes this happen.
next lets re-invent the wheel
2:40 frickin' posers mall grabbin
What exactly are they posing to be?
I am new to these types of carving boards and have question. Do both trucks move or just the front truck on the boards in this video?
On the front truck there is a special turning device called the SmoothStar Thruster. This is what helps the board move smoothly between turning from side to side or rail to rail. This is a very similar smooth feel to surfing. The trucks at the back should not pivot and turn... just a regular skate truck but you need it like this to provide drive and flow.
This music is pony. Should have some Hendrix or similar !
I wish I was like Filipe Toledo
Thumbs down, slo mo sux
mal grab
I get how they roll up the bowls but when they slide up it is so cool man so cool 2watch
Booring
skate to get away from surfing kooks, here they come wave after wave
this video rules
Hell yeah Filipe rips!
+Ho Stevie! Sure does, he might win the world title this year!
Ben Collison would be crazy if he landed a big air at Pipe haha
WHEN USA???
Decent surfers, crap skaters , definitely not next level
Wow most of them ride goofy
ตอนนี้ที่ประเทศไทยกำลังฮิตมากๆ🤣🤣🤣
I was kind of hoping they were going to get on the coping.
Reminds me a lot of lords of dogtown.
SmileyFace Channel I was thinking that too
so are these boards just cruiser's? just wondering what make it different
The boards are designed around surfing. There is also a patented mechanism on the front truck called the Thruster.
I saw a mol grab
no slo mo
Last spot was nimbin skate Park?
Decent frontside slash grinds. Basic but decent skateboarding that remind me of your average 40 year old 80's vert skateboarder who's come back to a culture that has evolved so much that they barely even recognize that whichthey're seeing. Not sure I would go so far as describe this as "next level.". After decades of not skateboarding a good old f/s grind feels nostalgic. Not quite comfortable enough yet to stand up and lock in a front/back Smith or 5, and certainly mindblown by all the blunt to fakies and f/s no comply tail slide reverts by all the 540 busting 8 year olds who've been skateboarding for 6 months and yet are skating at a level that would have made them a top pro in the 80's. But labeling anything "next level" at this time in skateboarding history is almost certainly likely to be highly misleading. I would never in a million years consider anything I do on a skateboard as being "next level.". Not when you have skateboarders like CJ and Jagger out there skating pools like GT, street like Jamie Thomas and Chris Cole, vert like Bucky and Hosoi, and Mega like Way and Burnquist. Serious All Terrain Rippers skating every discipline like the best who've ever done it. Now that is "next level.". Now T. Alva carving a bowl and f/s slashing the coping in his 60's, something he actually invented nearly 50 years ago, that shit is off the chain next level.
Sick video!!
This what skateboarding is supposed to be about. I like this style better than modern skateboarding and it's less dangerous
skateboarding is supposed to be what the skateboarders want it to be. downhill skaters, dancers, freeriders, street skaters, vert skaters, freestylers, etc... will do their own things.
haters gonna hate.
@@sepg5084 I tried this method and found out quickly that turning around this way on a ramp is the hardest way of doing it.

Is it Byron Bay? Nice video! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great riding, but the thruster design appears to be a knock off of the Carver c7s thrust bearing pivot. If you sold it by itself I could see the use to modify an existing board, but the design is inferior to the complete surf skate trucks that are already available from a few different companies. I would imagine there is a reason why these are not distributed in the US...
+TheFootbaldd Great question. In all honesty, the SmoothStar Thruster has a patent in the USA and many countries in Europe + Australia and New Zealand. If it was a copy, how would we have a patent. We believe we actually have more patents than any other surf skate brand in the world. And as for copy, the Thruster has existing for over 14 years, its not new. Our products are more of a surfing product. Everything we do including sponsorship, teamrdiers and product development are based around improving people's surfing... we are not a skate company. We don't sell it separately because believe it or not, there is a lot of science in the decks and wheels. All of these modifications are based on surf similarity rather than cosmetic looks like other companies. For example, all our decks are very wide to achieve the "heal to toe" weight distribution through turns. To us, the products are very different but we understand why people compare the two products. You will find the majority of surfers always prefer SmoothStar - its not us saying that... its surf coaches, surf groms and surfing professionals.
We don't sell the trucks separately because its important that the product feels more like surfing. We imagine we lose a lot of sales all over the world because of this but sometimes credibility is more important than sales. For more technical details why the product is not sold separately we have written a blog post about it. smoothstar.com.au/latest-news/technical-reasons-why-we-dont-sell-smoothstar-thruster-separately/
If you are more of a skater than surfer, we actually recommend CX trucks. So how are we biased?
Hope all this helps you understand it better and thanks for your contribution.
Interesting, thanks for the response. How wide are your boards on average? They look to be about average width for their size. Have you experimented with longer boards? I am just finishing a 7 ply 42" board that has a strong hyperbolic parabola through the midsection that eases into a rear kicktail and a minor concave bowl in the front. At the front trucks the board is appx 11.5" wide. As someone who has tried virtually every board sport at least a few times, I would say the longer board has a much more fluid feel then any of the boards I have rode in the past, and compared to my 34" carver with the same trucks there little comparison. I wouldn't claim to be a surfer, but I would be interested to see how much my technique transfers if I had the chance. I understand that is beyond the scope of many of your target customers, but I like to take my hobbies to a hands on level. I'd love to see how your boards feel; however, I have never seen one in person and am past the point where I would buy a complete deck from anyone. If you were to make the thruster available I would certainly be interested in getting one; but I will probably just end up casting my own hangers to modify the carver to my liking in the mean time.
+SmoothStarSurf The reason I would think that the two piece design appears inferior, would be due increased weight, ride height, and an additional place for compliance issues. (instead of just dealing with compliance where the truck base attaches to the deck, you can now also have issues where the truck attaches to the thruster) That is obviously speculation as I don't have one to examine. The reason I mention the thrust bearing pivot is that from what I have read, Carver began development on the thrust bearing pivot application in the late 90s. I seem to have came off a bit brash, so I do apologize for that. There are a lot of companies that essentially copy innovation from others, but with a complete lack of internal engineering and development. This doesn't seem to be your case after more understanding, but you have to admit that is a common problem in general today.
+TheFootbaldd Yeah totally agree. There are about 10 other companies that sell a surf skate product. Our Thruster was invented back in 2004. So we have had our product copied as well. We know all about legal issues. If you want to get technical... you can examine the patents. SmoothStar turns and dips on an angle. Despite all the copies out there, SmoothStar is still the closest to surfing. The two part components are required to give the extended turning pivot. You need a lot of sharp smooth turns... this is just like you surf. With SmoothStar the transition from rail to rail is more realistic of surf movement.
Also - if you ever see a SmoothStar, please just give it a try... then come back here and put your comments and the fact that you have actually tried it.
Thanks for the input and hope this helps.
+TheFootbaldd Geez... you are very technical. You should be our tester LOL.
But our boards are much wider than any other brand. What limits the look and style, we make up for in surf functionality. For full specks of our boards, refer to our website.
We also look at the right amount of concave in the decks to help keep a consistent smooth turning arc. You can really push off the rail like you would with a surf turn...
Our wheels base is also critically important.
To be honest, there is a real science to our decks. We spend a lot of time testing them from a surfing perspective. If you notice... we actually don't have that many designs or models compared to other brands... that is because people who ride our boards don't choose them on design but functionality.
It would take a lot of time to explain our decks. Don't forget you have all kinds of surfer sizes, weights, heights and ages. To explain our approach it would be pages and paged of content. And we don't want to give away all our secrets :-|
However, there is one little element we can share with you.... Since you drive from the back foot, you put more pressure on it, you need more width... Any surf coach will tell you that you put pressure on your toes and heals... So next time you jump on your board riding.... see if you heals/toes go over the edge of the board? If so, you have the wrong board to emulate surfing.
kinda understand now?
This is one of the important reasons why we don't sell our Thrusters separately.
Beautiful
This clip is kool az...
