Sarah had suffered with medically diagnosed General Anxiety Disorder for most of her life. She was taking Buspar and Prozac to manage her anxiety. Yet, she had constant anxiety which would spike up every day. Sarah also suffered with fatigue all the time.
She has always had jaw pain. Even had what felt like teeth pain on her lower jaw that was checked out by her dentist twice.
Sarah suffered with neck pain for years requiring chiropractic at least every 6 weeks. She ascribed it to a car accident she had a long time ago. She was taking Gabapentin every day for the various pains including leg pain.
Sarah went through detailed diagnostic tests including our unique "Raman CCMD Protocol" of Physiologic Neuro Muscular Dental (PNMD) procedure to determine the optimal jaw alignment. She was then fitted with a neuromuscular fixed orthotic for 90 days as a reversible phase 1 treatment. This is both a therapeutic and diagnostic step. Within the first week her anxiety was improving. Her fatigue, jaw pain and neck pain also improved greatly. By the end of phase 1 in 90 days, all of her symptoms were significantly improved. Anxiety, fatigue, jaw pain, TMJ pain were resolved. Since 2006 when I published my "Prabu Point" technique for relaxing neck muscles, I have been promoting the use of the term Cranio Cervical Mandibular Dysfunction CCMD to acknowledge the reality that the jaw and neck work together functionally. So we need to widen our focus to "jaw & neck alignment" during diagnosis and treatment. It is easy to realize that CCMD can and does give rise to many whole body symptoms that are given various diagnostic "labels" such as GAD. They describe the condition General Anxiety Disorder...but fail to get to the root cause. In many cases - not all - the root cause is CCMD / TMD.

@@ramancentertmj Totally agree with you Dr Raman. I have been following you actively. A lot of TMD/CCMD symptoms are common. Doctors usually prescribe Painkillers or Antidepressants for that instead of targeting the root cause. Airway , Jaw-Neck relationship and Posture is really important and should be taken under consideration. I was shocked to see GAD caused by TMD. Being a TMD and GAD patient myself, I am hoping to get a doctor like you. I have read about your research on Prabu Point as well. Hope to see more Doctors like you with such vast knowledge.
