If I could go back to another period in time, I would go back to when Angel Grove was settled by the British in the 1700's, despite the fact that all of California was part of Mexico at the time, and owned by Spain.
My hypothesis is that Angel Grove is the equivalent to our world's Los Angeles, and it has an English name instead of a Spanish name because in the MMPR-verse, the American West Coast was settled by Britain instead of Spain.

This is not confirmed anywhere of course, but I always though that the "Ghost of darkness" (the effects-heavy skull) was supposed to be the same skull that Rita uses sometimes in season 1 to make complicated spells. I mean, it is a magical, glowing skull, Zedd says that it's Rita's creation, and it's introduced like we were supposed to know it already
Had to come back to comment on the episode with my favourite civilian fight post power transfer era, JYB and JDF going crazy with skills as per usual. Episodes clearly an excuse for some green ranger fanservice but enjoyable nonetheless.
one thing that has always baffled me is why does tommy say dragonzord and tigerzord when he morphs yet everyone else just has mastodon etc and not mastodonzord?
One thing that i noticed in the opening that really makes me upset is the fact that Kim's Zord is the only one that turns into its Thunderzord counterpart, while the others stay as their OG zord, and Tommy's isnt even shown. Were they too lazy to like edit it so it either just showed their Thunder Zords or have them change into them for a split second?? Sorry just had to rant for a minute 😅🤣😊

Also, The Ending was Crazy where Both Tommys appeared as White and Green. Also, A Question for you and Nicki, Were you surprised to see 2 Tommys? I think it would have been better if the wizard actually possessed Tommy. Or turned him pure evil. I always found Tommy more believeable when he was evil, sadistic, and treacherous.
