I just found your channel and I think it is just amazing.Your videos are beautiful the explanations that you give and the descriptions of locations and tips are outstanding. Even the sound quality and the music you blend in with the videos is on point. I'm only on the 5th day for the Pride of America Cruise videos and am very much enjoying it. I just came back from a quick trip to Honolulu for a week for my seventy fourth birthday. I normally travel solo but would love to have a fun travel buddy. I haven't found one yet. I took my long time girlfriend with me. She lives in LA California and I am in Maryland now.... and we have very different travel styles. I get up early and see as much as I possibly can see and enjoy everything that's available and she likes to sleep in and then she likes to lay around and watch TV in the room so we are enjoying our vacations in totally different styles. I'd like to book the Pride of America trip for next year when I turn 75. And if I find a fun travel buddy between now and then that would be great otherwise I would travel solo. I worked on the road for about twenty years driving all across the country flying in and out of states and then driving across the states doing military healthcare briefings. I'm used to being alone on the road but always meeting wonderful people along the way. I will definitely reach out to you and hopefully you will be available to help assist with booking if that is what you do. Again I really admire the work that you do on your videos. It is such a great help to get an idea ahead of time before going in to areas so you have an idea of what you're doing and you have definitely provided that. Enjoy your travels and I will continue to watch... probably binge watch at this point all of your travel videos!! Safe travels
Yes, after doing some of the excursions and visiting the islands, I highly recommend renting cars on the various islands. I think it gives you the most amount of flexibility and you can really explore what the islands have to offer!
Thanks for the video! Do you remember how long it took you to get to the pier from the tender? Wondering if I can make an 8:30am excursion that isn't offered by POA.
Hi there! I would allow at least 20 mins for the tender time. The tender leave in the mornings once they are full and some of them first thing are quite full with NCL’s own tour groups. They also do typically have a couple more tenders running first thing in the morning, as most people want to depart the ship as soon as it’s cleared.
Is that how all the excursions start out in meeting somewhere on the ship before going ashore? My mom & I will be sailing later this year 2023. Usually when I did excursions they would have you meet in a certain location on the port before leaving. Granted these were with Royal & Carnival years prior. This will be my first time with NCL, and first time in Hawaii all together.
