Thanks for setting this up Jimmy, and thanks to Bill for his time and answering our questions! I didn’t know about that smaller guitar...going to be a tough decision between the larger archtop and that one.
The interview was wonderful. Make you feel that you can talk directly. My dream axe is the single pickup violin sunburst as a thin body set up with 13 flats and a dead low action. My 75th birthday was in January 25, but we always celebrate six months later. The dream is I order the axe then fly over July 25th to pick it up and play a few tunes with you two. That would be a gas.
I had a lesson with my instructor (Ralph Grasso) and he wanted me to turn down the volume. I told him it wasn't plugged in. We looked inside and found no x bracing. there was a large hunk of wood under the bridge where it looked like it was craved out during construction. I have a peerless imperial. Is this a new design ???
At around @4:30 Bill taps the guitar he's holding and calls it "production line" instrument. Is that the affordable hollow body Bill was thinking about building before? Where can I find more about it? I have a GCS-1 which I love.
I own 7 South Korean guitars , either those guy's take pride in their work , or get shit beat out of them if they make crap .. Only thing i don't like about 'em , is the pick ups . Although the Cort factory had Mighty mite , not too shabby.. Armstrongs on that little black number , yeahh ..
Thank you Jimmy.....Thank you Bill. Bill didn't really answer my question about the routing of the GCS 1. What does he mean by solid wood core? Does he take a big hunk of wood and carve the back, sides and wood core out of it? I'm sure its a great guitar or you (Jimmy) wouldn't own two or three of them. Thanks for your time.
Just got a Comins GCS-16 just like the one in the video that Bill is holding, they are amazing!
I enjoyed this Q&A with Bill. The Comins line of guitars look really nice. Looking forward to what the future holds for Coming guitars.
Two of the Baddest Men on the Planet!

A builder that has some legit skills like Bill can only help a luthier build a better box!
South Korean manufacturing is pretty damn nice from Peerless as well.
Thanks Jimmy...Best of luck Bill (good stuff!)

Thanks for this Jimmy. Could you ask Bill if he'll ever do a run in left handed?

How did Yotam Silverstein come to play the GCS-1? And is his model stock? Thanks!
Bill we answer.. I like Yotam a lot
Definitely hear the difference played acoustically.

Korea is the new Japan in my opinion. Will only go up in value just like Japanese guitars. The George Benson made in Japan is over $3k!

I'll let Bill answer because I know nothing about guitar building
It's a semi-hollow body. Just like an ES-335.
Jimmy, what is the status of your new site?
I decided to stick with the old site. It is open and functioning. I answer around ten videos a day
