It’s really incredible that you can strike the balance to be both a consultant and the badminton player. 🎉
You're inspirational! Full-time consultant, badminton player and UA-camr! Keep it up and all the best!
Great video and editing, didn’t feel like a 9 minute video! I’ve been trying to motivate myself to go gym in the morning before my work from home days. Hopefully this will help kickstart that 👌🏾
Morning workouts always make me feel more energized throughout the rest of the day! Even if it's just starting out with something small like 10-15 minutes. Your body will thank you!
You are a full time consultant (and a manager 😮), playing badminton professionally and a youtuber. How?. I am impressed!
Loving the vlog content! Just started playing badminton again after close to 20 years and excited to play again!
Hardworking man! I'm a CS student, a programmer & willing to be a National Badminton Champion of Bangladesh. Found Yourself after as my idol! Your mentality matches mine. Keep in touch brother...
Wow you really showed the side of an athlete we are not aware of. Admire your hard work. Always a fan of what you do. Keep up the good work Howard!
amazing to seeyu managing work and badminton
Definitely it's more inspiring for me beside the fun part
Now i'll know that work + badminton can be managed effectively with the right balance.
Thank You for sharing this ❤❤
Incredible dedication! You are an inspiration to many amateur level players like me.
So inspirational, I thought your night sleep must start something earlier like 9 pm instead of 11 pm. Keep it up bro.
You have qualified. Mark Calijow from the Netherlands will have his space declined by the NOC, because he didn't meet their specific requirements.
wait no way LETS GOOO
Loved each second of the video.
I wish you all the best for the upcoming Olympics.
Nice video editing and awesome content. Love to see this kind of positivity, you are truly inspiring as you are living your life to the fullest. This might be a simple day in the life video, but it showcased your ability to balance well between professional athlete and as a full-time consultant while maintaing a very healthy and productive lifestyle. It might sound easy by words, but most of us, including me couldnt really manage everything as perfectly as you are Howard. Keep it up with what you enjoy doing, u got this. Love from Malaysia🤞
you're motivational af
No doubt that you're a consultant, your time management is amazing.
Jesus Christ Howard you have grown up so much. I was mesmerized by your commitment, discipline...and the lunch hahaha. I'm so happy for you! Keep it up!!!
Damnn you deserve more for your effort I hope u reach 100k subs soon

exactly l love content like these
keep working hard and growing like that love from India
Do you typically only have 1 badminton session in the morning on a daily?
Great video as always! Excited for future videos!
Nowadays, yes because I also work full-time. Earlier in my badminton career I would train 2 sessions a day. But now I typically will have at most one badminton session daily depending on the availability of my sparring partners. I change up my second workout depending on what my body needs. Sometimes with active recovery like yoga or swimming, other times heavy days for legs or upper body, etc.
This is some impressive stuff....this is how one must live
Inspirational type-shi, keep doing what you're doing man (sad there's no US coverage on the Thomas Cup)

Thanks for this top quality video, wish you all the best in your career
That protein bowl 🤌🏽
Loved your video. I am sorry you didn't qualify for 2024 Olympics out of 35 positions. But your dedicated and maintaining balance is awe inspiring.
Appreciate the kinds words and your support! Actually it’s 38 positions not including the addition of quota spots if there are athletes qualified in more than one event (Cristo Popov, Vinson Chiu, and Seo Seung Jae). So in this edition of the Olympics, it will be 41 positions total. And final reallocations have not been done yet.
@@howeezy I appologize and thank you for correcting aptly. Hopefully you do get a chance to show your commitment. All the best!
My boy killed it with the vlog

Thanks for sharing, it was really interesting to see a day in your life!
Awesome video as usual. Can you drop the recipe & ingredients of the strawberry matcha latte? Looks delicious 😂
nice content mr howard, cheers from Indonesia. can i request video about strings, just based from your experience with strings that you've been using, doesn't need to be stringing your racket with different strings because it's so time consuming and may disrupt your routine 😆.
Great video!!! I was wondering, are your physical sessions destined towards badminton in any way or just for maintaining body shape. And how do you control your meal and supplements? Love your content!!
Sometimes I will just have general full body workouts, but I do spend a lot of time with more badminton specific exercises that are catered to my needs and my body. As far as diet, I'm not extremely strict, but I would say I eat pretty clean. I don't drink soda or eat fast food and try to make sure I intake enough protein for recovery but also carbs for sustained energy
Just came across your channel, nice video!
Hope you make it Howard!
love your content
Looking good!
Very nice video. More of these! :)
hey shu can you give us the recepie what you made in the lunch I really just loved that meal
Man thats so great! to be managing work with a badminton career...awesome.
p.s. u can start a badminton coaching once u retire and still continue to earn along with work haha

GOAT BRO
Nice video!
You could have a decent cooking UA-cam channel. Great content.
😆
Super inspiration.
Do you ever play badminton at a club for social reasons, like doubles games or is it too much?
Love it.
Hi Howard, just curious why pro badminton not doing any intense plyometric training for speed ?
I want to believe this is extremely helpful for foot work
Damn you’ve been going to the Orange County badminton club for awhile now. Do you also train at GBA?
I grew up in Orange County, so this is where I picked up the racket at the age of 8. Bounced around and had played at a few different other clubs. i.e. LABC when I was at UCLA d also when I was living in West LA, spent some time in Asia after graduating from UCLA, and also GBA here and there because Tony is a great mentor of mine. But I have been back in OC since 2019 😊
It seems to me that 1 workout is too little to play badminton at a high level, I don't understand how you can combine work and sports like this
11pm to 6am though, only 7hrs of sleep.
it is tony gunawan
How come you don't sleep 8 hours or more every night?
It helps with recovery and has many benefits, so that's why I'm asking :)
Then again I do know people that legitimately can't sleep for 8 hours because no matter what, they just end up waking up after 6 to 7 hours and can't go back to sleep..
Nice

She working with a 120hz plus monitor
You'd make a great chef.
Thanks
Thank you for the support Michael! 😃
I did not know badminton's a thing in the US
Cool ❤
What app that you use on iPad for the 2nd training?
It's Peloton! They have some great yoga, strength, and cycling classes that perfect if you don't want to plan out a workout.
USA has a olympic badminton team?? Anyway, other countries are serious about this sports, without atleast half day training and coach, its impossible to reach even top 50
Might be too personal a question, but do you and your partner sleep in the same bed together? Was wondering if you sleep in separate beds to not have to wake your fiancé at your 6am wake up?
Is such a small training block normal for badminton?
bruh i also have a amazon echo and i hate tes alarm.
That’s the point, need to have an alarm that’s annoying af so you get up 🤣
@@howeezy nah i got my mom to wake me up.
@@therockckgaming9949 😂
anyone know what the name of yonex jacket that Howard wear? The black jacket at the intro one!
I think I got this black jacket at the 2022 World Championships in Japan given to Yonex players. So there might be one similar from the 2022 collection but it may not be exactly the same with the yonex across the back
@@howeezy much appreciated Howard and hope can find it 😂
top 77 bwf
I thought you didn't qualify for Paris Olympics? 🤔

Are you not married but already living together? it's not good in my country
It's not good in your country so shut up
It's not good in your country, so shut up
imagine this with children...just how?
Definitely would change my routine up 🤣
Im also Asian And i dont to be racist but you And your wife Look Like the same 😂😂
I knew consultants did nothing relevant. You could even be in the Olympics and be one.
The title is super narcisstic, + you’re not even good at badminton let’s be honest.
