How and why we use soil blocks for seed starting

In this video we share with you as we prepare soil blocks for seed germination. Our seed raising mix is made from Tim's Best Potting Mix available from Tim's Garden Centre in Campbelltown, Coconut coir, as well as Perlite and Vermiculite. We place our soil blocks in shallow trays inside upon a heat mat (it's 1.2m x 53cm and fits nicely on a moulded plastic table available at hardware stores). The heat mat we've purchased from Amazon.
