When we discovered the flooding in our kitchen and needed to rip it all out, I decided I might as well go for my DREAM kitchen! It took some time (about 6 months total with design and construction) but it was truly worth it! Heather and her design team at House Sprucing made it so easy, as did our construction contractors, they really understood what I wanted and helped curate the space with me.

A major change I wanted was removing our second sink and lowering our peninsula countertop, including all the marble. I wanted something durable and an island that was multipurpose for meal prep as well as hosting parties. Making those changes allowed for our gorgeous waterfall porcelain countertop island and gave me plenty of counter space for hosting and cooking for our family!

I'm also so obsessed with the detailed cabinet doors on the island and the stain on our handcrafted drawers. Lionel and his team kicked it out of the park with their craftsmanship! Also, those corner drawers they installed are MAGIC ✨ and save so much space! Such a game changer for any kitchen remodel.
Honestly can't thank both teams enough for all of their help and truly understanding my vision. I'm so excited to cook in it and host more events, and truly utilize every part of this kitchen!

I think what would’ve been a smart thing to do in your edit is to show before and after photos of what you had before compared to now. Like your drawers and cabinets and your lights and sinks etc.
Omg, the remodel is gorgeous. I also hate the water spillage when I water my indoor plants, so I started using ice cubes to water them! Makes it suuuuuper easy and you can just toss a few in whenever they need, with no mess. Has definitely changed the game for me! ❤

I never thought gold would work in a modern kitchen but it definitely does in yours, especially with the wood effect on the Drews on the bottom. I thought you might of gone glossy black handles knobs to match the shine of fridge/freezer/dishwasher/oven & grill

Hi Mindy, loved the kitchen. It’s different but cute. How is you’re trip in Hawaii? Are you and Shaun going to be back home when Twins and probably Dakota and Asa collaborate with Merrell Twins and Rybka Twins in LA, if they collabing in LA?! I hope Paisley is enjoying spending quality time with Brooklyn and Dakota while they’re watching her and keeping an eye on Rylan and Daxton. Also since Asa and Dakota got into the family within a year apart, you guys need to do an upgraded picture without wedding pictures like a good family portrait and also would you include Asa and Dakota for some of these hairtiage photos or are you just going to do all 6 of you since y’all started it before they married to you’re family?! Sorry for so many questions. Overall, loves the kitchen and glad that you got what you wanted instead of having what the contractor did. Love to you. ❤

The kitchen looks great, but I don't think I am a fan of the black hardware. I feel like it looks dated, event hough it is brand new. I think gold or brass would've looked a little less harsh and more modern
but after watching the whole video, I guess the black hardware does tie in the black sink and the light fixtures
