- This might be the greatest raft I, or anyone, has ever built.
This game just keeps on giving and I love making the worst/best rafts you can possible build just to see what happens. I can't wait to see what I can do next!

@@DangerouslyFunny the detail plank is I think a thing you can buy from a shop on an island. you can use this *infinitely* (it doesn’t break 😏) it’s a small plank which you have to make the planks connected to the boat. I don’t know much information but this is what I know, I watched a video of some other dude who took advantage of this. If you position yourself correctly you can glitch through walls and if you use the detail planks underwater and walk on them, you can breath underwater and the shark won’t notice you. This includes the underwater fish in that globe place (I think that’s where the fish was?)

@@DangerouslyFunny Details Plank is a variable length plank. You can stretch and point it in any direction. And boi oh boi you can skip every thing, if you don't dismount from said plank, you're counted on the boat while underwater, and don't suffer from breathing issues.

I'm just imaging how the other characters are reacting to DF when he encounters them. He just walks on a seemingly endless piece of wood, noclips through the wall, takes a piece of paper with a random number on it, noclips out and then leaves on a raft that travels at Mach 69 on the water.
It's hilarious to realise that despite all the blatant cheating and no-clipping and flying and such, DF ended up skipping way less content than Josh from Let's Game It Out did just by abusing the detailed planks.

Can we talk about how consistent DFs upload schedule is? Unless he says, it’s daily, every day. That’s absolutely insane. There is some UA-camrs who make these same videos, but it takes 4x longer. I’m not sure if he edits his own videos or if he records and then sends it to someone, but either way daily uploads are insane.

@@TwasPotat Huh, okay. Still that’s absolutely insane. 1 video every other day? Sometimes even more? Editing videos aren’t easy and take a lot of time, and that’s not saying that these are about 25ish minutes excluding the outro. Which is a really long video

The detail plank item can go infinitely in any direction and push you through walls. Makes this game shatter as it also makes you able to breath underwater. Can make this even faster.
Let's Game It Out takes it to ridiculous lengths too lol.

Wait you can do HORIZONTAL building pillars? Holy shit this is absolutely revolutionary
Each engine can support 100 *foundation* pieces; it doesn't care at all about the size of the structure above the foundation. The engine need tops out at 6 engines; even if you made a thousand-foundation raft, you'd still only need 6 engines to achieve top speed.
The crazy spinning is because regardless of where you put the rudder (that random pipe thing that was hanging down - it has the steering wheel at the other end), your raft rotates around your original 4 raft tiles, which presumably are quite some way away from the radio receiver and steering wheel. The middle of the raft rotates at a constant speed, so the further away the edge is, the faster it spins.
When I saw this I thought you’d be like Let’s Game it Out and use the detail plank to break the game, but you found a different way of breaking things.

funfact utopia is where the story becomes easily broken because it seems to make use of trigger boxes. You can totally do it out of order and possibly softlock the island.

That pole all the way to the ground is the connection between the steering wheel and the underwater part of it

You have to research the receiver and antenna blueprints in the research table, they aren't in barrels or the decoration packages within barrels and crates.
an interresting challenge would be"Make an anchor and drop it, now finish the game without ever moving the raft EVER!

You can clip into the tangaroa bridge with a raft like yours if you sat in a chair at the end of one of your boarding planks and then let the raft float so that the chair enters the bridge
You know this is DF if the video is about speedrunning a game that usually takes hours and hours to beat within 5 minutes.
