Examples include telling Big Show his dad had died of cancer when he hadn't just to make fun of him crying, writing a poem about Big Show's dad being wormfood when he DID die (arguably one of the funniest fucking things in wrestling history), tying Big Show's dad's coffin to a car and driving off, giving Al Snow brain damage, destroying Head, the mannequin head who is the manifestation of Al Snow's psyche by impaling her, kidnapping Al Snow's dog, turning Al Snow's dog into steak dinner, feeding the Al-Snow's-dead-dog-steak dinner to Al Snow. He's been a bugger!

I'm watching the series again in itv x player bit the theme tune sounds very jazzy compared to the original I thought it was Maybe because of it being re done for itv from BBC type but this sounds the same! I really can't remember it having this jazzed tune through it lol
Arguably the pinnacle of British comedy. Britcoms, especially BBC ones, nosedived after the 90s. What happened? Not Going Out is usually shite and Red Dwarf is a faded echo of itself, and I can't even watch Ghosts or Mrs Brown...
Back when UK comedy was great, now it's all reality tv bollocks, why did this have to go?, the comedies hit their peak in the 90s now UK comedy tries to have american humour (My family) and it sucks.

Shame these brilliant actors and actresses had to get old aswell which was another factor. The only difference between the two factors is that the Latter couldn't be helped whereas the Former (FM) should have stayed well away and let it age with Grace. There is a reason good comedies are being taken off air and replaced with garbage these days. We should all write our own sitcom, I have a feeling, judging by the comments below that it would be off the hook, epic, old school style! ^_^
