I became a CPS worker because of Maxine. I was 12 when this show aired

This show also influenced me as a Wiccan to NOT come out period and to not have kids. I am terrified of your kind coming to be baby snatchers and put my kid up for adoption.

@@electrofonickitty823 Boy, are totally in the dark!! Should you not make yourself a favor to find the religion God placed on earth then you’re a goner my friend. Hell is eternal, you know! Reconsider. You deserve better. Return to your own Creator. Allah, the One and Only. SAVE YOUR ASS.

I remember this one with little girl being abused. Sometimes I wishnthe show would do follow up, see what happened to the kids later! I know its just a show!!

We’ll have to be optimistic thinking that the Grays always put things in perspective.

34:15 Some babies that cry constantly for no apparent reason might be helped by CHIROPRACTIC Care. Simple, gentle spinal adjustments by a qualified Chiropractor does help in some cases. It may take more than one treatment. And it is not a guaranteed result. And not all chiropractors may be qualified to do it. It would be best to consult a pediatrician to see if they know a Chiropractor that they trust.

In my region we rely on ancient doctors like Ibn Sina. They usually said that baby’s prolonged crying is actually a positive thing. They get rid of excess fluids from their tiny bodies. If hushed they will have health issues like maybe, ear infection! My baby cried like that two times in his infant days. I couldn’t but helplessly panic but kept rocking him over my shoulder thinking of other things for a couple hours before he finally calmed down, had his meal and drifted into a deep sleep. It requires patience.. gigantic patience and that task is better be held by Dads if were around. They are calmer, don’t have home/household chores to attend to as they aren’t the ones wth messy hormones which greatly reflect on behavior. Been there, done that so trust me.. allow them to expel bad fluids while you rock a bye baby. 😌

Man so the mother forced her son to take the blame and only when he was suppose to be in jail she confessed . Sick

The terrifying thing is that Jody will be tried for premeditated murder. She took the gun from her foster family, it wasn’t self defense.

no, mom. i only felt like shaking my oldest daughter once when she was about 2 weeks old, but i KNEW to only bounce her straight up and down a few times, not in that way. colic from her formula with iron in it probably didnt help either i changed that a few days later ,and then she was fine.she wasnt hurt, she had just gotten her days and nights mixed up because the hospital has lights on 24/7. i did that for about 5 seconds and then stopped cuz i knew better, she was so tiny and i was so big and crying was her only way of communicating at the moment. i love my children and would never hurt them. i knew how to be.

If I were the baby's father, I might to be able to forgive my wife for killing our baby, if I knew she was an otherwise good mother. But I could never forgive her for the way she tried to pin the blame on our son.

As much as I sympathise with Maxine's views here, the show is playing sad, somber music because assault allegations not backed up by any evidence were not accepted by court, which is what it should be. Did Maxine just assume the court would take her personal hunch as a proven fact ?

Also, no one commenting on how screwed up it is you can charge and try and 8 year old in the US, apparently ? As in, someone who can't even legally operate an elevator alone due to not having a sufficiently developed brain can still be charged in juvenile court ?

I suspect Amy is bluffing in this case, handing down that sentence. She KNOWS that the kid didn't do it, and she gambles that giving the kid the harshest sentence possible would force the real culprit to confess. It pays off!

And on top of what@@waivedwenchsaid, you can charge a kid starting at the age of seven. It simply usually isn't done.
