Hello everyone, welcome back to Wartales! The Marvelous Mercenaries resume their liberation of the Ormance County, aiding and abetting whoever offers them Krowns and glory. In the Barony of Clerone, the Skelmar have besieged the oldest Abbey of the Eye, and the Company was all too eager to commit a little blasphemy starting at 54:50 to aid in its liberation. In the Barony of Goella, the invaders reached out to procure our services at 1:12:30 but a better deal revealed itself after rescuing the Betrayer Jarl at 1:29:18. If Captain Fabe learned anything at 1:40:00, it's that Skelmish alliances are rather loose in nature, as our new Waifu proves against her former allies at 1:56:48. The High Jarl is in sight -- thanks for watching!
Damn, Jarl Waifu must be using the same crossbow from Daryl on The Walking Dead, except she uses it to just make more dead people XD Loved the Belerion Series, and this one is turning out pretty great too, but I do agree with ya that there should have been more choice regarding whether to repel the invaders or join/help them, for flavor and whatnot. Hope to see this series continue to an epic conclusion!
I had middling expectations for the Crossbows, but they've proven to be _incredibly_ effective. I do think they would start off weak, but Cannoneer (poor out-shined Durgrim) is probably quite good for the early game when you rely on engaging the enemy a lot. I'm expecting the Marvelous Mercenaries' journey to conclude by the end of the month. (:
Being honest, I spend many more hours than I should on fishing in games than I should. It's so pleasant. I actually catch things of size, unlike the small perch and bass I do in RL.
I absolutely love fishing in video games! I've joked throughout the years that if a game has fishing, it's a good game. The only reason I've passed them by recently is because I spend a decent amount of time managing my hoard of an inventory in between episodes. XD
