Wow! I love it that you showed that particular page where we can see poetry and prose right next to each other. Genius! What a nice little touch, thank you.
Thank you for your review of the NKJV Classic Verse by Verse bible. I one that is very similar. It's a center column reference bible with a black leather cover that I've had since February 1984. It remains in excellent condition after a lot of use.
If this was wide margin, it would be close to the perfect Bible. I’m using NKJV for the first time this year and I’m really enjoying reading it. I love verse-by-verse as it is often hard for me to find the verse numbers in the paragraph format. The typeface is great and easy to read. A good red letter is nice. All-in-all, it looks great.
Yeah. I honestly bought it not knowing what I wanted and it’s kinda one of my favs now. All for the low price of like $40 bucks. It’s currently off at the re-binder now. 😀
Hi, this is the first time your channel popped up in my feed. Verse by verse center column is my favorite layout as well. About a week ago I bought the gray one in genuine leather with blue stained page edges. I really like it. Only draw back if the first 2 maps have a little bleed through of the blue ink. I still love it, though. 😊
I got the genuine leather version of this, gray with the blue page edges. This is some of the best paper that I've encountered in a Bible so far. I don't know if the text block is identical with the leathersoft version (It probably is) But I'm really impressed with the paper. And I love the blue page edges. It's really dark blue and it's a nice change from gilding. The leather cover comes with a vinyl liner so that will probably last longer than paper, however the cover is one of those genuine leather ones that doesn't lay flat until you get to Leviticus. Sometimes genuine leather does lay flat right on Genesis 1. It depends on the piece of leather they use I guess. But in my experience, the leather soft that Thomas Nelson uses is just wonderful in the way it lays on a table and in your hand and just flops open. Overall though it is a fantastic Bible even though it's a bit larger than I prefer. It feels absolutely premium in almost every way. And it has three ribbons. So I'm glad I got it, but it looks like that the regular leathersoft version is just as good.
You’re right. The paper is pretty great! I’m actually getting the black in rebound by Post Tenebras Lux hopefully this month. So when I get it back I’ll do another look. Thanks for the comments!!
These Bibles have the BEST intros, even though they are so short. I get a lot more from the intros in these editions than a two or three page intro in one of my study Bibles. This is a great Bible. I can see why you love it so much. My perfect Bible needs to be a little smaller though (just me). I prefer VBV over paragraph form and also prefer either center or side column references. Plus, I love the NKJV. Unrelated to the translation itself, the NKJV comfort print is my favorite comfort print. Great Bible. Great review!
Thank you for the encouragement and comments! I wouldn’t mind if it was a little smaller. But it fits my bulletin and I like the font size so I dunno. Lol.
I like it. I have a handful of CSB Bibles and the imitation leather they put out is not bad all. It seems like all "Leather-soft's" are getting better and hold up more. And they tend to be WAY less expensive so they're a great option. That being said...CSB puts out a really nice genuine leather and goatskin that really aren't that expensive either.

I kinda accidentally figured out that might be a good idea quite a while back and it just seemed to make sense. Glad the video was helpful.

What’s your take on the leather soft on Holman bibles-( CSB to be more specific).

I been using the nkjv for years i try csb and nlt and there are verses missing i will stay with nkjv

I Love center column reference and verse by verse. This looks like a winner in a great translation.
Yeah. This layout is my fav.
Wasn’t there a grey bible with blue gilding on it I think It is a nkjv bible
I have a review of my Sunday Bible in silver if that’s the one your taking about. It’s nice.
