THE BEST way to not ever have an bigfoot encounter and to be completely safe from the dangers of bigfoot is to always have a quality camera with audio that is live streaming or is recording at all times.
My camera is on the SHAKY preset with auto-FUZZY focus, so bigfoot will hold still long enough for me to photograph him.
I carry a super 8 with me with dirty lenses. Thats the only way your going to catch the one bigfoot thats been living since the start of time. I heard he visited jesus when he was born on a camel too.

My experience:
Back in the late 90s before I joined the service I was working a diner type job that usually required me to be a closer as everybody hated late night cleanup. It was spring time in the Black Hills, I had to drive about 12 miles to get home. Stayed later than usual cleaning up the restaurant that night. Nobody on the roads really as I drove out of town into the hills. I liked driving at night with the windows down, no radio, air was a comfortable temp, it was close to a full moon so in the hills the moonlight was pretty strong letting you see most things clearly. The highway was one lane each way winding through the mountains to an elevation of about 4500 feet. Some country style houses with roughly 1-2 acres of yard for each. You could see anything in the open clearings outside of the pine trees with the moonlight. Had some experiences of unusual things as a kid but this was a first as I was older. Drove a lifted old ford pickup that stood about 7ft to the top of the cab, my eye level about 6'5 while sitting inside. Was about 4 miles from my destination and had just passed some houses then started coming up on a small restaurant on the left. The highway opened up to allow for a left turning lane. I was about 200 ft from the turn and started to see a dark object standing in the turn lane. Caught me off guard, I had felt things watching me in the woods before but never anything substantial. As I drove up on it going about 55-60 mph, I was squinting to figure out what it was. Happened almost as if in slow motion, covering the 200ft felt like a moment stopped in time as I realized the figure was as tall as the cab of the truck, with a long arm stretched out as if to try to touch my elbow as I had it resting out the truck window. It was at least 7ft, dark like a shadow, almost half in, half out of this reality, felt feminine, definitely not trying to scare or harm me, absolutely wanted to make contact. I don't scare easy but I can feel when "unique" things are near my presence. Every hair on my body was standing up, my adrenaline had shot through the roof, eyes wide open, mumbling to myself as I kept driving, almost drove through the next turn, felt an absolute electrical charge pulsating throughout my body, my body/energy was in shock from feeling something never experienced before. I was young so it scared me but now older, I see it was being friendly to me. Some are meant to see, some are not but you have to have a good heart/energy for them to want you to know. I served 15 years after, seen two hostile fire combat deployments, held a security clearance that required a polygraph and been exposed to many classified projects. What I wrote here is true. I've worked alongside men whom killed for a living, each of us have unexplainable stories so to those of you in the civilian world, do not discredit something because it gives you fear. Temper your fear and experience something beyond a closed mind, we exist on this planet together. Death is watching you the moment you're born into the world.

@@maggiechristina8840 actually, if you read the sumerian tablets they write about experimenting with human/ape hybrids to create a slave race to mine gold almost 400,000 years ago. If you read further, it shows the large "ape" consciousness was abused in its creation. Sasquatch was not looking to mate but rather looking to make contact with an old friend/relative of abuse. Humans prefer cities now rather than nature. Read the tablets and interpret, it makes complete sense.

I’m a Native American and I live on the wind river reservation I’ve heard stories of Bigfoot maybe being a spirit or something, I heard a story where Bigfoot was bothering some local natives and one of them started to sing and so did the Bigfoot, I’ve personally never experienced a encounter with him but it makes you wonder.

I lived on the Yakima reservation for 7 years and basically "big foot" does exist and also there are other things in the woods and mountains as well...talk to your elders and listen to their stories...talk to hunters and especially the loggers because they spend the most time up in the mountains.

I think he has moved to Canada now but pops into the USA occasionally to visit the locals and to make TV shows.
It's quite possible there are underground cave networks in the vast forests where 20 or 30 of these creatures could live and breed.
Interesting theory, I think bigfoot is a transient species and is constantly on the move, never stopping, never resting long. Think they are afraid of humans with good reason.
Hey, I respectfully disagree with your opinion. I believe we have the technology to know if this was true and eventually after time we would see these creatures more and more.

I have spent over 50 years hiking, backpacking, tent camping, and snow shoeing in the mountains of the NE US, primarily as a solo outdoors man. I have never seen, smelled, or come across tracts of anything that could have been made by a Bigfoot. That said, there are still a lot of wilderness areas in our country where an animal of that size and nature could live and avoid people.
I hate to say they exists , that’s coming from a avid deer hunter from New England , trust me I wish they didn’t , honestly if I detect one is around I would just avoid the area
They could exist, but I fail to see how they could do so without leaving any trace they existed. Dr, Bryan Sykes, a geneticist from Oxford University. did a DNA study on hair samples alleged to be from Bigfoot and all were from known species of animal found in the region in which the samples were discovered.

Once you see one of these monsters for yourself up close and personal, your life is never the same . My encounter with a super huge one nearly 12 feet tall , put my entire body in such shock i past out for approx. 10 straight min. , i experienced that feeling a driver must get traveling at 100 miles an hour, fixing to hit a wall head on, in the last 20 feet feeling, because you know there is absolutely no escape, i had seen them many times from a distance they all seemed to be around 6-7-8 feet tall at best that morning the big daddy stepped to me from behind a big giant oak tree, never saw him coming , thought for sure i was dead, and it was only 300 yards from my back door. When i came to they were all gone i managed to make it to the house where my wife was thank god it summer she was off work for 3 months she was a public high school teacher math , and she could add this up , she thought it was a heart attack. that day i never hunted again , or take the life of anything , you get a new respect for how precious life is, most folks do not know that sasquatch doesn't even need to eat food they absorb energy from the trees and boulders or rocks, that's what those structures are for energy conduits, i also know why they have these abilities its because they are able to use 80% of their brain humans only 10% max the mind is a powerful tool, they and other beings think it is amazing what we have accomplished with only 10% brain usage, and that was genetically done to our race many many centuries ago,, buy an outside 3 rd party for control

I had my tent pushed in slightly by a large hand in Uwharrie National Forest one night. Had a few other things happen too, rocks, noises, crashes in the forest… fun times
My grandma, who is a Japanese and lived through WWII as a child, always recalled and told us that she saw a bigfoot in the mountains of Wakayama. She said it was big, hairy, and red. Without jokes, our family now think that it was an American POW who escaped into the mountains.
It was probably a sasquatch, they don't just live in America

Same exact thing happened to me upstate Ny in 1974....During a camping trip...full moon...probably 2am...large hairy hand slid down the top of my tent....hand was a third larger than a human hand with thick fingers...I always felt uneasy at that particular campsight...like you were being watch....
Several months ago, I was guiding trout fishing in N GA in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Several days later, I noticed a handprint on the rear window of my Outback. I didn't see it before, as the car was clean, and the print only appeared when a lot of dust settled on the window. It was very clear, with the heel of the hand, 4 fingertips and a thumb. It appeared that the dust particles had adhered where oily material had been deposited on the glass. The fingertip prints were so clear that the ridges of the fingerprints could be seen.
Measured from the heel of the hand to the fingertips was almost 10 inches. It was oriented horizontally, as if leaning over to look in the window. Below it was anothe indistinct print. I don't know how it got there, and saw nothing. there were people in the vicinity part of the day; this was far larger than a human hand.
Large (17") footprints were found several months prior about 4 miles west of that location. So, what was it?

You would think that Bigfoot would be understood to be a biological specimen, a long-lost descendant of a prior ape named Giganto-Picius (sic), which is within the fossil record. The pattern in all of existence is something more complicated creates something less complicated. So, you'd think they'd wonder how something as complicated as God can create itself. Boggles my mind. Well, I actually have a Forestry and a Wildlife Conservation Degree and it doesn't matter if it's The Park Service or Forest Service, they both employ Forestry workers, Biologist, Police etc...Ntl Parks are full of what? TREES and animals. In fact you have to have a Forestry Degree or Biology, History degrees to work for the Park Service, unless your a seasonal. You're very nitpicky, but I digress. History channel gets a lot of stuff wrong and rarely show anything concerning History.

Your best chance to possibly be in BF country would be outside of Cody, Wyoming. Take Chief Joseph hwy n turn off onto Sunlight Basin road which dead ends about 10 miles into the canyon. I used to take my pop-up truck camper as far back as I could away from any other camper at designated camp grounds. I'd camp usually during the week n when most folks don't enter until July. One night my German Shepherd which was extremely laid back goofy dog. He woke me growling n very nervous n I eventually just got up, around 0400. I only used a small light to lit the inside, n he continued to growl n started to make me even nervous about something he smelled cus he kept stiffing the air.
I had taken my ITT PVS14 Gen 3+ military monoscope n looked out across the creek nearby n was surrounded by high canyon walls off in the distance n the tree line. As I scanned the area, I suddenly caught movement by the creek I'd fish earlier the day before. When I realized what I thought was a grizzly n cubs. I absolutely started shaking so much I was having trouble holding my scope steady. Then, I clearly saw a very large figure on 2 legs the size of a full grown grizzly so I thought. Nearby I spotted a smaller figure both looking very hairy n aware that they weren't alone.
Around noon I broke camp n headed home. While doing so my dog never left camp n anytime I went in or out he insisted to jump into the camper or my truck. He never quit growing n very ineasy in behavior in which wasn't like him to act. A year later, I had gotten a Trijicon REAP-IR thermal, but never saw anything else other than deer n bears n a lone wolf or two n coyotes occasionally. I never felt safe camping there after that encounter n met a guy at RockyMtnSports that claimed he too had a sighting many years ago. I guess I will never know what I had seen that night. My dog had many times seen or smelled bears n I knew when he did, generally when out fishing. But that night his growing was quite more intense imho. So, if you want proof go look around as it right on the border of Yellowstone Park. That's my story take it or leave it,,,
I didn't believe in their existence until I found a footprint in a narrow creek bed while hunting last year. I took a picture, some believe me and others say I made the track myself, right on.
I live in BC - the PNW is peppered with them largest pop/sq mile I believe.
You know what's funny? at my camp during hunting season i know of good spots people frequent to find a good deer....i have made several fake foot prints in mud and dirt...i even heard a neighbour of mine mention someone had seen big foot prints on my road...lol

@@debbiehaines4826 any type of encounter is a wake up call. My wife and I had something throwing large rocks at our tent in the middle of the night, close to 30 miles from the nearest gravel road. People don’t do that to other people in bear country. I had a 13 gauge loaded with 000 buckshot and slugs, along with a big bore pistol in the tent. It’s a good way to get yourself shot. I don’t know what else has the capability of picking up rocks and throwing them. Very creepy, uneasy, sleepless trip after that. Four sleepless nights in a tent in pubs and needles with a loaded gun in my hands.
I've never seen a live big foot, and hope I never do. But I believe I've seen a footprint of a possible creature having a human type footprint. What was strange about it was that it had an inverted conical indentation in the heel of it, like it had an abnormal growth. I looked around but found no sign of anymore. The footprint was in the mountains where we were elk hunting on the side of a hill heading down to a stream. I had my camera though it never even crossed my mind to take a picture. Took place some 23 years ago. There are other accounts told to me by people I know personally, which are very bizarre surrounding these phenomena. If yer not out in the hills, you'll never know what can go on, or what you will see out of what most would think ordinary. It's easy enough to dismiss all this as a hoax, if it will let you sleep more soundly.
That was a Dogman track. Search up "Dogman feet on trailcam" you'll see what I'm talking about.
It's hard to ignore face to face evidence.but they want us to.
Humans are incredibly fallible in recalling things they have witnessed. Real evidence is impossible to ignore. There is none.

I went horse back ridding in Yellowstone National park, and the leader asked my sister if she believed in the harry man! She said, 'You need to talk to my brother." After talking to him for a while, he proceeded me to tell me that He's smelled them, they've thrown things at him, and he's heard them yell, but has never seen them! He's only seen 14" tracks. This is a man that lives in the wilderness and goes by the name of "Wild Bill" and knows the wilderness better than most of us do! I would recommend that people start looking outside their little world and start to understand that the world they live in is much bigger than what they can touch and feel!

Yes, but they have the same interest in keeping this quiot! If they were to admit that this thing were walking among us they would have big problems! That's why they won't talk publicly about it.

2) the government would lose LOTS of money on hunt/fish licenses, day use passes, camping permits, firewood sales, ECT because:

With that kind of $$ on the line,(tens of millions) these guys aren't going to come clean about the topic! They will just deniy, look the other way, or try to laugh it off. I've had several close encounters here in Wyoming as well. They ARE among us, when we're in the outback!
That's not really true. They have different missions as land management agencies but many agencies routinely consult with the US Fish and Wildlife Service for their expertise in certain areas especially if they have mitigation requirements.
The USFS is under the Dept. of Agriculture. The National Park Service is under the Dept. of the Interior. Two completely different agencies.
If they admit it exists then they will have to make it a protected species- what do you think would happen to the logging and forest industry? They are everywhere

My friend and I had one walk right in front of our car at 3am on a paper route. It had to be 7 foot tall. It walked around the house, into our headlights, stopped and looked at us then walked up onto the porch. It had to duck down and it walked up the the front door and looked in the window. My friend was driving and she threw it in reverse and burned rubber. I wanted to stay but she was determined to leave quickly. She finally told her uncle who had contacts at the local paper. He asked his contacts about it and they said there have been many reports over the years but they weren't allowed to print them. This was in Cook County Texas.

1969 we were camping in Watkins Glen NY. 3 am we were awoken by 3 trees being tossed at our campsite. These trees were easily 13-15 foot tall and the roots were still attached. One of the trees landed on my cousins tent and broke his let. My uncle wound up and unloaded 12 shot gun shots at whatever was throwing tress at us. We quickly left .. not even stopping to grab our camping gear.

I could see there being a big foot or multiple . Maybe big foot is actually human, but is a copy of what we were before we "evolved" . Notice the quotations ,Maybe there parents abandoned them in the woods to live out there life in secret. Back in approx 78-79, I was about 5 or 6, down in Southern WV. The news reported a Bigfoot sighting in the area. My mom was frantically struggling to move the refrigerator up against the back door to protect us in case Bigfoot were to come! True story. Bigfoot was like a real phenomenon then, at least for a few yrs.

This is the thing: even if I concede that MOST sightings of Bigfoot are hoaxes/mis-IDs, that still leaves a lot of stories told by outdoorsman/hunters who saw something they have never seen before. It's time for a long, concentrated search of, at least, the pacific northwest.

I was always skeptical of personal stories of Bigfoot encounters until I had a very good and trusted friend relate his own experience. He did not tell me willingly... In fact, he seemed perturbed when I asked him about it. I was alerted by a mutual friend, "Hey, next time you see Barry, ask him about seeing Sasquatch." What? Seriously... Barry?
Barry was a very quite and unassuming person. In fact, he is perhaps the most honest and down to earth man I have ever known. He was the type of guy that if he entered a room full of people at a party, he'd be the one who would prefer to have zero attention focused directly on him. So the idea that Barry was telling Bigfoot stories was surprising, to say the least.
So the very next day I asked him, "Hunter told me to ask you about the time you saw a Sasquatch." Barry was not pleased and flat out said, "No one believes us anyway. I wish he'd shut up about that. I shouldn't have said a word to Hunter."
The "us" he was referring to was his ex-girlfriend, Veronica, who i knew only casually. So with repeated urges from me, Barry related the story. It was kind of creepy and shocking, especially coming from someone like Barry.
Sometime later I happened to run into Veronica and just had to ask her about it. "Why'd he tell you about that? We agreed to stop talking about it."
Once again with urgings from me, she related basically the same exact story with just a couple of details added.
To me this testimony had the distinct air of truthfulness. Why would Barry's ex back him up on this? What would they have to gain by telling people legends, especially when their embarrassment was obvious? Whatever it really was, they truly did believe what they were saying. Furthermore, this encounter was so close up and so vivid, that a hoax or case of mistaken identity is almost as hard to believe as the actual story they related.

@@dhz35 I'll make it brief as I can. The timeframe was the mid 1980's. He and his girl at the time took his mother's nice, fairly new car to an area further away from home than she would necessarily have liked, a heavily wooded state park in Tennessee. It was a very nice fall day and there were enough secluded places up there in those days that they could "have a little fun" together.
Before they knew it the sun was getting low and his mother wanted them and the car back before nightfall, so they were kind of in a rush heading down unpaved roads to get out of the forest. With the windows down and driving too fast on a rough, downhill road, they heard the distinct sound of one of the wheel covers on the passenger side popping off and rolling. Barry got out and began walking back up the unpaved road looking in the brush and fallen leaves. Veronica took over driving in reverse. As he walked he kept hearing something that was mirroring his steps in the dried leaves just inside the wood line, which was right up to the road itself. He would stop and it would stop. He would walk and it would walk, and seemed to be getting closer at it did so. He got to the turn in the road that allowed the low sun to shoot right down the roadway and illuminate the trees and brush better, and likely where the wheel cover popped off. Veronica, seeing his strange behavior said, "What is it?" He bent down and was telling her he kept hearing something large following his steps. As he was still speaking, Her mouth dropped open and her eye's got "big as silver dollars". She was looking past him into the forest. He turned and saw nothing. Then it came into focus. There about 20 feet away peeking from behind a huge oak tree was the head and shoulders of the creature, with massive hands around each side of the tree. He described it as being at least eight and half feet tall and it's shoulders, protruding on either side of the oak, massive. All of it he could see was covered in long reddish brown hair, except for the face, which was "human like" but also ape like. He was paralyzed with fear and as he was trying to understand what he was seeing, its head began to drop lower as if it was taking a crouching position. Its facial expression began to change into an angry look and out came a extremely low, slow guttural growl that Barry described as vibrating his entire body. He jumped through the open window and Veronica put the car in drive, high tailing it out of there.
There is a bit of humor in this story. They were so rattled by the experience that they went straight to his house, not even bothering to run the car through a car wash and fill up the tank, which was the plan originally. The story became something of a family legend - a way to explain away bringing his mothers car back to her dirty, low on fuel and missing a wheel cover... a sort of "the dog ate my homework" excuse.
@@rougebaba3887 I believe it. There's only 2 "animals" that can growl like that, Sasquatch and Dogmen. Not even the largest of predators can reproduce that particular bone-rattling growl.

I've talked to people over the years since I first found a Sninnick/Big foot track and those who have tried to track him/her have come to dead end tracks. They said it was like they just vanished into thin air. Our Indigenous stories say they can use portals to move in and out of areas.

My experience:
Back in the late 90s before I joined the service I was working a diner type job that usually required me to be a closer as everybody hated late night cleanup. It was spring time in the Black Hills, I had to drive about 12 miles to get home. Stayed later than usual cleaning up the restaurant that night. Nobody on the roads really as I drove out of town into the hills. I liked driving at night with the windows down, no radio, air was a comfortable temp, it was close to a full moon so in the hills the moonlight was pretty strong letting you see most things clearly. The highway was one lane each way winding through the mountains to an elevation of about 4500 feet. Some country style houses with roughly 1-2 acres of yard for each. You could see anything in the open clearings outside of the pine trees with the moonlight. Had some experiences of unusual things as a kid but this was a first as I was older. Drove a lifted old ford pickup that stood about 7ft to the top of the cab, my eye level about 6'5 while sitting inside. Was about 4 miles from my destination and had just passed some houses then started coming up on a small restaurant on the left. The highway opened up to allow for a left turning lane. I was about 200 ft from the turn and started to see a dark object standing in the turn lane. Caught me off guard, I had felt things watching me in the woods before but never anything substantial. As I drove up on it going about 55-60 mph, I was squinting to figure out what it was. Happened almost as if in slow motion, covering the 200ft felt like a moment stopped in time as I realized the figure was as tall as the cab of the truck, with a long arm stretched out as if to try to touch my elbow as I had it resting out the truck window. It was at least 7ft, dark like a shadow, almost half in, half out of this reality, felt feminine, definitely not trying to scare or harm me, absolutely wanted to make contact. I don't scare easy but I can feel when "unique" things are near my presence. Every hair on my body was standing up, my adrenaline had shot through the roof, eyes wide open, mumbling to myself as I kept driving, almost drove through the next turn, felt an absolute electrical charge pulsating throughout my body, my body/energy was in shock from feeling something never experienced before. I was young so it scared me but now older, I see it was being friendly to me. Some are meant to see, some are not but you have to have a good heart/energy for them to want you to know. I served 15 years after, seen two hostile fire combat deployments, held a security clearance that required a polygraph and been exposed to many classified projects. What I wrote here is true. I've worked alongside men whom killed for a living, each of us have unexplainable stories so to those of you in the civilian world, do not discredit something because it gives you fear. Temper your fear and experience something beyond a closed mind, we exist on this planet together. Death is watching you the moment you're born into the world.

But when more people gained more awareness about bigfoot and kept trying to find him/her the sasquatch got more startled and hides from them nowadays. This is a theory. There's documented cases of farmers excavating giant human skeletal remains throughout the 17/1800's-present day. The government seizes them and hides or destroyed them. Some are known to be held at the Smithsonian in DC.

Several labs that are run buy more than a veterinarian with a poor BBB rating have offered to review her findings and look at her specimens. She won't provide anything. She had to create her own publication to even get her paper published. That says it all. A conspiracy that involves every other scientist experienced in genetics but her being in on some cover up is ridiculous.

How do you think professional wildlife photographers get those amazing shots of animals in the wild?
First they have to locate that animal’s habitat.
Then they have to locate the animal.
Then they have to find a location where the animal doesn’t see the photographer and is spooked. Then the photographer has to spend hours a day, for days on end, just to see the animal and take photos (all while keeping the camera at the ready!) and maybe get a handful of clear, useable photos.
Now - People are hiking in the woods, talking, laughing, distracted, etc. Their phones are in their pockets about 99% of the time.
BF appears,, then disappears, in a couple seconds.
Everyone stops. They’re in shock. They’re scared out of their minds. Some scream. Some run.
How long does it take to overcome gut-wrenching fear - reach into a pocket or backpack - login to the phone - open the camera app - point, and get a clear picture?

It's caught on camera all the time, problem is cellphones are useless beyond 20ft and no one is carrying around thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment and telescopic lenses with them 24/7.

@@uncannyvalley2350 Professional wildlife photographers do that all the time. Strangely, even though you'd think they would be the people most likely to get a picture of Bigfoot, they never have. It's almost as though if the photo or video is good enough to see clearly what is being filmed, it turns out not to be Bigfoot.

Ahhhh the mighty Winds of Wyoming. Mountain range is huge. A good portion of the wind River reservation takes up a good chunk of the eastern central region, this might be the most remote part of the range considering the lack of manicured trails and roads, not to mention the tribal sovereignty associated with the region. Look at a typography map of the tribal boundary and consider the vast amount of wind River range that resides within the reservation. If I were a Bigfoot in the wind River range this is where I’d definitely take up residence

After Mnt. St. Helen disaster, friends of mine came across a group of military soldiers who were moving what I thought were body bags from the Pacific side. With things a little crazy, one of the individuals has fallen and had severely hurt his back. A few of the soldiers asked if some backup were coming as he stated that there was still much work to do. Without thinking, they volunteered to help without really knowing what they were volunteering for. They looked at each other and finally said why not. It wasn’t till they all went down a path on the side of a ridge where they entered a cave. In shock, they looked at each other when they got inside to find out that there were dead Bigfoot that were actually being taken out of the cave. The soldiers were laughing and one said, I told you that they would never believe it! Just then from deeper inside the cave was an actual live Bigfoot who was talking in what they said was an old Indian language! They never did get to talk or try to talk to the Bigfoot but did help take out about 20 or so who had been killed by the eruption. As they were leaving, they were told to keep this under wraps when the Sargent said, not to worry since none would believe their story. When finally leaving, they saw multiple Bigfoot who appeared to be thanking them and then they vanished into the woods. Years later, I happen to accompany them on a hike where they took me to the cave. It was strange when we entered and the cave had a very different smell to it. In areas there appeared to be fresh leaves and brush laid out that looked like beds. After exploring deep into the cave system, we decided to leave and the smell was more pungent. We all walked out and headed back up the trail. After about 10 minutes or so, my buddies started talking about what they had seen and they all agreed. It was a little weird until they asked me if I had seen the Big foot family. I said what! Tom had recognized that one of them was the same one he had seen years ago because of a burned limb. He believed the Bigfoot recognized him as well because he did not try to hide from view...I was just dumb to the whole situation but wished I had paid more attention. It was stated if they wanted me to see them they would have allowed it. For now, two of us didn’t have a clue and the other four just laughed with half smiles. At least, I now know where to look!

Interesting, I have been researching the topic for a long time but never came across anything that confirmed DNA test results from a lab but there is enough evidence of people being silenced.
Why? There are zero reported cases of people being treated in hospital for Bigfoot attacks, so they aren't dangerous to humans. Why would their existence be kept secret?
That is because a DNA test can only confirm it compared to what is already known. A long dead person can be identified by comparing the DNA to his closest relatives or to something he left behind loke hair samples or tissue samples.
So no DNA samples can confirm anything since there is no known bigfoot DNA to compare it to. The best it can tell is some primate with perhaps some human DNA but unknown origin.
Apparently you haven't researched that much or you would know about the findings of Melba Ketchum and a few others who have done thousands of DNA tests on hair, blood and fecal samples. It's been confirmed that Sasquatch DNA contains human female DNA and unknown father DNA, meaning that their origins of the paternal side are not of any known animal on this planet.
"Why are scientists so eager to dismiss it"? Perhaps because all that can normally be produced are shaky movies and blury photos. What happened to the hair samples and the report? Where is a body? Surely someone can come up with a body.
