    Thanks! Love to have you make a video on reading type of sand and adjustments to make. Municipal courses sure vary in depth, texture, moisture, and whether it's more sand or dirt. I do much better on holiday with better sand.
    Thanks for the low bounce ideas for firm.
    Setting up with my trail hand on top (extremely weak) helps. I tend to forget handle low... appreciate the reminder.
    Really like your teaching style...wish I lived closer.

      Trail hand more on top is an excellent tip. It helps you keep the club face more open!
      Thanks for the comment!

    Nice! Will work this a lot today (soon). Seems a bit different than a prior video where you had us start in the extended left wrist position -- can you clarify? Thank You!

    • @AndrewEmeryGolf
      @AndrewEmeryGolf  3 місяці тому

      Lead wrist should remain extended throughout! You want to avoid twisting or rotating the club face which negates the bounce. Get after it!

      @AndrewEmeryGolf best bunker practice today - soft high with little roll out - focus was smooth acceleration and high finish with start of left wrist extended and maintained right hand under with no twisting. Thank You!

    Same question. Any thoughts or rules on distance control. I heard something like 3 : 1 out of the sand. You have to hit it like 3 yards to go 1 yard out of the sand. Thanks for the video

    • @AndrewEmeryGolf
      @AndrewEmeryGolf  3 місяці тому +1

      Go from 58 to 54 to 50 degree with the same swing and see what happens but make sure the face remains open. Also, you can try using the same club but changing the length of the through swing - but it’s a little harder! Longer bunker shot longer finish, shorter bunker shot shorter finish etc.
      Try not to increase force!! You want to of course accelerate but don’t throw your body forward or back! There’s no chance with that! Best, Coach A. ⛳️🏌️‍♂️🙏🏻

    How do you control distance

    • @AndrewEmeryGolf
      @AndrewEmeryGolf  3 місяці тому

      Lengthen the swing and use less loft. Try not to ADD force which is problematic. Rather use the clubs momentum to hit the ball further! Best, A. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️🙏🏻

    Great lesson. Do i wish i had this lesson last week. This past Thursday there wasn't a sand trap that my ball didn't find. Open club face is key for me. Thanks.

    Another excellent lesson. Chipping and pitching is where I lose most of my strokes. Would love to eventually see a pitching video.

      Here’s a pitching video I did for a mid spin/mid trajectory 25-40yd shot. There are multiple ‘release patterns’ and variations for this shot but this video sums up the basic pitch pretty well.

    Never thought of choking down! Not saying this is my struggle with sand shots but would help from always digging.

    • @AndrewEmeryGolf
      @AndrewEmeryGolf  3 місяці тому

      Most likely digging because the club face isn’t open enough!! It turns the club into a shovel when you start presenting the leading edge to the sand! Try thumping the sand with the back of the club!!

    YES - I still love your very relaxed but seriously good way to learn and play this game. I find the shorter hits more difficult than those 40 feet - how should I scale it down - caus speed is still needed? Keep it streaming 👍👍 cheers 🍻

    • @AndrewEmeryGolf
      @AndrewEmeryGolf  3 місяці тому

      Change the length of your swing and you won’t need to add or decrease force which can be problematic!! Shots around the green are ‘gravity fed!’ Use the clubs momentum to hit the ball!!

    Had lots of bunker issues since the sand is much more fluffier this year. Found lots of key points with this training vid so thanks for that
