Those were some pretty nice autos! Right now I am doing autos in my training, it's intimidating but I enjoy it a lot! These videos help with gauging what sort of things my instructor will want to me to do. Thanks for putting them out. I definitely enjoy the more technical pilot oriented videos. So far into my training these kinds of videos have definitely helped. Thanks again!
Tried a few autos in UH 1H in Vietnam. Pilot wanted me to have an idea how to do it should I be placed in front seat as I was the crew chief. Ended up with about 40 hours stick time. Hope to get an opportunity in the future to fly choppers again.
Hi Mischa I’m thinking of doing my helicopter license. I only have experience as a passenger at the moment. Before you started flying did you ever think about the safety side of things and the potential of crashing and did that ease once you could fly? People always seem to say helicopters are dangerous. What’s your thoughts on this?
Deej Miles I didn’t think to much about it when I started. Driving a car is also dangerous. A lot of it is how you fly it. 80% of accidents are pilot error. So as pilots it’s our responsibility to make sure our clients and us are safe. That would be my advice.
Ever hear of a checklist? That's a bust! Seems there a lot of vibration, the guy doing the recurrent legs are shaking pretty bad. Something about the way this guys looks and flies bothers me, nerves or something. Anyone else?
it looks a bit dangerous the pilot wearing those shorts that high up his legs, he could of caught his fingers between cyclic and gap in shorts... i was thinking saftey .
Mischa looks so relaxed. A natural in each situation.
One of the best flyheli instructor of the world....Mischa gelb...!¡.😎
Sorry and father..!¡

ha ha! Mishca..your helmet just reminded me of Rick Moranis in his Space balls Vader helmet! lol!
I love the 500E hat!
Could the lower idle be an effect of the AC unit?
That's probably a good cause yeah, increased load on the turbine would lower N1 speed and increase MGT at idle
Wow
Great Autos !
Lot of Australians in this video, the controller, aircraft in the air.

Pilot Yellow thanks for the advice. Keep up the great vids. I hope to come out to your school one day 😀
cool vid, he loved riding the horn down , is it harder with the 66, then the 22/44?
goapebilly No
Good instructor! I still prefer the good old 206 though!
He looks as scared as I would :)

Morning bc helicopters and Co.
😊😎😊
I wanna learn to fly how
why is he getting that low rpm sound when he begins the autos? too much speed an entry? Thx
200 feet shorter you would have planted it on my truck at Cascade. Watched that one and cringed a bit... He isn't so bad.. LOL
Interesting, I always thought that the higher the energy stored in the rotor, the better, in terms of options.
Monostripe Zebra That is correct.
ATC Lady’s an Aussie right
Lucky there are no controls on his lips!
no crap its like he was trying to eat the mic
Why are ATC radio comms always such bad quality?
Communications aren't terribly important in aviation so it hasn't really received much attention toward innovation.
John Klenk
True. Why are these ATC headphones so expensive though. I get they need sound proofing and such but...
Be great if you had a camera on the ground so we can see the side view of the auto-landing
I agree!

He looks scared to death most of the time.
Well I hope I can do that as well when i start lol
His lack of traffic awareness gives me anxiety

Can helicopter pilot use eyeglasses? Can somebody answer me :(
Zenitha Pereira Yes
Yes you can definitely use eyeglasses. As long as your vision is corrected you are fine.
What happens if the Turbine goes Kuput.....LAND....
