    Those were some pretty nice autos! Right now I am doing autos in my training, it's intimidating but I enjoy it a lot! These videos help with gauging what sort of things my instructor will want to me to do. Thanks for putting them out. I definitely enjoy the more technical pilot oriented videos. So far into my training these kinds of videos have definitely helped. Thanks again!

    Hi Mischa another great video. You were talking about an incident that happened in Alaska, are you able to elaborate more on what happened?

    Tried a few autos in UH 1H in Vietnam. Pilot wanted me to have an idea how to do it should I be placed in front seat as I was the crew chief. Ended up with about 40 hours stick time. Hope to get an opportunity in the future to fly choppers again.

    Could the lower idle be an effect of the AC unit?

    • @xeels2708
      @xeels2708 5 років тому

      That's probably a good cause yeah, increased load on the turbine would lower N1 speed and increase MGT at idle

    Hi Mischa
    I’m thinking of doing my helicopter license. I only have experience as a passenger at the moment. Before you started flying did you ever think about the safety side of things and the potential of crashing and did that ease once you could fly? People always seem to say helicopters are dangerous. What’s your thoughts on this?

    • @PilotYellow
      @PilotYellow  6 років тому

      Deej Miles I didn’t think to much about it when I started. Driving a car is also dangerous. A lot of it is how you fly it. 80% of accidents are pilot error. So as pilots it’s our responsibility to make sure our clients and us are safe. That would be my advice.

      Pilot Yellow thanks for the advice. Keep up the great vids. I hope to come out to your school one day 😀

    Ever hear of a checklist? That's a bust! Seems there a lot of vibration, the guy doing the recurrent legs are shaking pretty bad. Something about the way this guys looks and flies bothers me, nerves or something. Anyone else?

    Why are ATC radio comms always such bad quality?

    • @johnklenk8102
      @johnklenk8102 6 років тому

      Communications aren't terribly important in aviation so it hasn't really received much attention toward innovation.
