Dave the Diver collab was so unexpected lol but can't wait for the update

I suspect the modified art would be for CN as well
But a collab with an acclaimed indie game is a surprise, especially considering past collabs had been high profile things.
When I first heard it, I thought "oh like Dave the Diver" not expecting literally Dave the Diver
But I see that Nikke isn't letting AL and BA JP (swimsuit Kanna) have all the limelight
There is no CN server. CN players just play on the JP server. But the modified art will likely be used for promo materials and ads for Google Play/Apple stores.
Yep, a mini-collab that's quite unprecedented. The mini-game will probably be extremely robust and almost a full game itself, as with most Nikke mini-games. Full on collaboration will still be a bit later.
so for everyone who doesnt know in this chat. nikke is a korean game yes? dave the diver is also a korean game. a korean gane that is based around fishing and summer fun and cooking. its also the FIRST korean game to a win a game of the year award. has had collabs with other famous IP like godzilla even though its from a indie studio. it got alot of traction and news. so its natural that shift up, a korean company, would wanna collab with the first ever korean game of the year that is also majorly summer themed (until stellar blade wins one. but stellar blade isnt a summer game) and with nowadays internet going off on lazy triple A studios ripping people off snd now putting their souls into making games like they used to and indie games have been popping off fhis year......it makes alot of sense for why shift up chose this.
While dave the diver nexon didnt entirely consider themselves a full indie game (as it had a bit more devs than most. It started at 5 and ended in the 20s. And most indie are usually 5-15) it's still a smaller studio who made it and they would want a summer event collab with a game from Korea that also came out recently that is specifically summer themed and has the first game of the year award for them.
Glad they're somewhat going back to their DC roots. Summer Rosanna reminded me of Summer Khepri

I wasn't really that interested in the Rosanna alt but I think the stream has changed my mind. I wish they said something about what is happening with last years units. I need Summer Anis. Thanks for sharing a condensed version of the livestream.
It's extremely likely that Summer Anis (along with Helm, Mary, Neon) will be available in the gold mileage shop and be pullable at a decreased % on the summer banners. This is how limited reruns were handled during Christmas, and while they may adjust it, it'll probably be done in a similar format.

The stellar blade colab is most likely at the end of the year or begining next year, there was an image shown of the timeline for both games and stellar blade had the colab planned very down the line so this next colab they mentioned could be some other anime or game. Also I'm happy that viper got the swimsuit but sad its not a new unit

Rosanna and Sakura look gorgeous in their swimsuit but it's such a pity Moran is nowhere to be seen, she's my favorite out of the Underworld Queen squad 😔

They were cooking with the units / skins , definitely will be pulling for both . on the JP livestream they showed off the bunny rupee figure and summer helm figure made by freeing , they looked great .

I’m so glad, that just like the other week bunny gals soda and Alice are not censored the trend continues, but isn’t it weird that the stream had censored art work but uncensored gameplay.
The only worry I have is when the other Nikke and guilty bust skills come on it was her default base outfit.
I think they have to censor because of UA-cam/Twitch/Twitter. And they use the modified art for commercials on Google Play/Apple stores. But definitely happy we don't get those modifications in-game!

This update looks amazing. I love how the new summer units look and that mini game seems very fun.
But I don't think this next collab will be the Stellar Blade collab. They said this collab will be with a "famous IP". The game is pretty well known, but I would not call it famous and it would kind of be weird for them to call their own IP famous like this
That's true, the term "famous" does make it seem less likely for Stellar Blade as the next collab. Though, it could also just be PR speak or dissonance with the translation. We'll see!
Oh they cooked. Instantly pulling Sakura and Rosanna and will likely MLB Sakura if the gacha luck is on my side. I’ve been anxiously waiting for summer

We are getting Stellar Blade i did some detective research and the lettering? Can be found in Stellar Blades Mystery Puzzle in the story with the same font Nikke teased on livestream Nikke x ?

It could be! We're certainly getting a collab with Stellar Blade at some point, just a matter of when.
I'm not too worried about Moran, she will probably pull an Anis and be pullable in part 2 or something

tbf, storywise, her organization is in a bit of a mess so she probably cant afford leave her org for an extended period of time like the others can.

Every piece of art that was shown on this livestream was censored, every charakter shows insane amount of cleavage normaly.

Those Red Hood skins are really underwhelming for the strongest character in the game...I'll be voting for the evening dress but to be honest was kind of disappointed in all the offerings to chose from.
I think the dress has the most potential. I always like gowns. The others do feel a bit underwhelming to me, personally.
@@GuardianEPlays Yeah, out of the three to chose from the dress/gown is the best looking one, so that's where my votes will go. But I was kind of hoping we would get some skin choices to match her personality, like how she's into older music, would've been cool to see an outfit with maybe a retro 80's vibe looking like she came from a Motley Crue or Guns n Roses concert.

I can't wait for rosanna also i hope that the censored version are also in the game cause i really like they way they look also dave the diver collab i didn't expect that. Also can't wait to see which red hood costume wins
Rosanna looks awesome! They don't put censored designs in game, and I feel that's a slippery slope, to be honest. If they think we want the censored designs, they'll just use those by default in the future since it's cheaper to just make one skin. They won't give us a censored skin for free.
I really tried to get back into this game a second time but just couldn’t. I want to like it but Nikke doesn’t hold my interest like Azur Lane does.
It's not going to be for everyone, that's why we have different games!
I really wondering why they are always left out 1 member like this, not including Moran and Helm here is dissapointing. I'm fine if they only gave us 1 out of 3 members but here its 2/3 of the squad? so its not makes any senses and feel a bit unfair. is it maybe because they never had an event with more than 2 new character???
however its look amazing and I can wait for the event, also it seems last summer character is not having a rerun this time
Maybe since Moran had her own event earlier this year, and Helm has already had multiple skins/alts where Mast and Anchor don't.

@@GuardianEPlays yea I get it, but me personaly wish they will manage the event better. Overall I'm satisfied with this update but still as Helm fans I'm not sure that I'm happy about the decision, also Mast and Anchor already have a swimsuit skin. so I think its better if they gave it to other member who doesn even have 1 skin yet like Quency, Nihilister, Rapunzel or Marciana.
