So I listened to this song again. Man!! It was better than the first time I listened to it!! I used to sing.... Years ago, before you were born I'd guess, I sang a lot of Jerry Williams - Harvest songs in church. Then later on in life I played county fairs in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. I did a Branson family show. My first set was positive country my second set was a tribute to our military and my third set was country gospel. The third set was always my favorite. I love singing to Father. Just me and Him. That's what it felt like. Just me and Him. Then something happened, not sure exactly what really. But the singing went away. I really miss singing.... I guess my wife didn't like it so much anymore but I really miss singing... You, young lady, don't ever quit!! You have a beautiful voice!!! You become the song when you sing!!! 💗💗💗✝️✝️✝️ Not many can do that! Not many singers can make the song live in the people. You can!! I can tell Father is with you!!💗💗💗✝️✝️✝️ Don't ever quit!! I have suffered with depression and anxiety all my life I became a born again Christian in 2016 there's no telling what I may have done without him in my life in that moment I accepted him as my savior but it doesn't go a day that I don't cry out for the Lord to take me home because I want to be with him so badly I love him so but I love my daughter and son and I have to remain strong for them and I know that God has a plan for me and I have to be strong

Hold on sister!! My biggest loss was my 30 year old daughter 20 years ago. 🙏👆🥰 yes I miss my parents. But the loss of a daughter was so much worse. I wanted to give up right then. But, she left 2 young boys I had to raise. Her youngest is now with her. Another hard blow.
So the first time I watched, I dissolved in a puddle. Then after watching it 11 more times, I started noticing the moments like when the first few words come out of your mouth and his body language shows his surprise and delight at your voice! He feeds you the lyrics at first but by the end, you realize he’s now just relaxing and enjoying the magic of having something beautiful happen. I wish y’all could record this together because now it’s my favorite version of this song! I wondered how the duet came about? Did someone say, “Hey, Brother, there’s a lady in our church that would love to sing with you on Still Holdin’ On?” I read through a lot of the comments and was touched by your heart. The Lord is shining through you and I know as Jason did, that your tears and pain are precious to Him. He is using it for His glory. Prayers for your ministry and I look forward to singing with you and giving you a hug when we get to Heaven.
🥹😭 Oh my goodness, bless your heart. Thank you so much for your kind words- you really blessed me. I can only pray that people feel a fraction of the anointing and spirit that was in this moment, because it was absolutely incredible. I’ll never forget it as long as I live- and the Lord used this moment to heal parts of my heart that I didn’t know were broken. It’s kind of a long story, but I’ll try to give you an idea of how it came to be. Jason and The Crabb Family have single-handedly been the greatest influence in my music ministry, and I’ve been trying to see him in concert for about 22 years, and it just never worked out. Fast forward to October of 2023, he’s coming to a friend’s church. I can’t wait! Things end up going crazy that afternoon with my kids’ schedule and I was going to be late - so I told my friend I wasn’t going to make it and I was devastated. My friend insisted I come even if I was a little late (and thank God for that!). I show up about ten minutes late, he’s singing “Through the Fire,” and I am sobbing instantly! Towards the end of the service, he asks for request and I speak up and make a request - he asks if I sing and says that he can tell the at I do. I tell him yes, and then I ask him I can say something. I begin to WEEP and tell him how influential he’s been in both my ministry and my personal walk with Jesus… he asks me what songs of his/the family’s that I sing… I name a couple…. He calls me up to sing. We had never met before this, never practiced… he chose the key… I was so incredibly overwhelmed in the best way ever (there’s some video before the start of this one)…I tell him I can’t remember the words… and that’s where the video picks up. It was precious. And I’m so grateful some folks took video. I’ll cherish it forever. Thanks for asking - hope it makes sense. Blessings and love!

I pray for God to please lift up the hearts of those whom feel broken as I once felt. Prayer is so powerful. So I listened to this song again. Man!! It was better than the first time I listened to it!! I used to sing.... Years ago, before you were born I'd guess, I sang a lot of Jerry Williams - Harvest songs in church. Then later on in life I played county fairs in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. I did a Branson family show. My first set was positive country my second set was a tribute to our military and my third set was country gospel. The third set was always my favorite. I love singing to Father. Just me and Him. That's what it felt like. Just me and Him. Then something happened, not sure exactly what really. But the singing went away. I really miss singing.... I guess my wife didn't like it so much anymore but I really miss singing... You, young lady, don't ever quit!! You have a beautiful voice!!! You become the song when you sing!!! 💗💗💗✝️✝️✝️ Not many can do that! Not many singers can make the song live in the people. You can!! I can tell Father is with you!!💗💗💗✝️✝️✝️ Don't ever quit!! Remember, it's not about money or fame. It's about you and Him... ✝️✝️✝️ I still have most of my sound equipment... Maybe I will just go set up in a parking lot and sing..

I have suffered with depression and anxiety all my life I became a born again Christian in 2016 there's no telling what I may have done without him in my life in that moment I accepted him as my savior but it doesn't go a day that I don't cry out for the Lord to take me home because I want to be with him so badly I love him so but I love my daughter and son and I have to remain strong for them and I know that God has a plan for me and I have to be strong

Hold on sister!! My biggest loss was my 30 year old daughter 20 years ago. 🙏👆🥰 yes I miss my parents. But the loss of a daughter was so much worse. I wanted to give up right then. But, she left 2 young boys I had to raise. Her youngest is now with her. Another hard blow.

So the first time I watched, I dissolved in a puddle. Then after watching it 11 more times, I started noticing the moments like when the first few words come out of your mouth and his body language shows his surprise and delight at your voice! He feeds you the lyrics at first but by the end, you realize he’s now just relaxing and enjoying the magic of having something beautiful happen. I wish y’all could record this together because now it’s my favorite version of this song! I wondered how the duet came about? Did someone say, “Hey, Brother, there’s a lady in our church that would love to sing with you on Still Holdin’ On?”
I read through a lot of the comments and was touched by your heart. The Lord is shining through you and I know as Jason did, that your tears and pain are precious to Him. He is using it for His glory. Prayers for your ministry and I look forward to singing with you and giving you a hug when we get to Heaven.
🥹😭 Oh my goodness, bless your heart. Thank you so much for your kind words- you really blessed me. I can only pray that people feel a fraction of the anointing and spirit that was in this moment, because it was absolutely incredible. I’ll never forget it as long as I live- and the Lord used this moment to heal parts of my heart that I didn’t know were broken.
It’s kind of a long story, but I’ll try to give you an idea of how it came to be.
Jason and The Crabb Family have single-handedly been the greatest influence in my music ministry, and I’ve been trying to see him in concert for about 22 years, and it just never worked out. Fast forward to October of 2023, he’s coming to a friend’s church. I can’t wait! Things end up going crazy that afternoon with my kids’ schedule and I was going to be late - so I told my friend I wasn’t going to make it and I was devastated. My friend insisted I come even if I was a little late (and thank God for that!). I show up about ten minutes late, he’s singing “Through the Fire,” and I am sobbing instantly! Towards the end of the service, he asks for request and I speak up and make a request - he asks if I sing and says that he can tell the at I do. I tell him yes, and then I ask him I can say something. I begin to WEEP and tell him how influential he’s been in both my ministry and my personal walk with Jesus… he asks me what songs of his/the family’s that I sing… I name a couple…. He calls me up to sing. We had never met before this, never practiced… he chose the key… I was so incredibly overwhelmed in the best way ever (there’s some video before the start of this one)…I tell him I can’t remember the words… and that’s where the video picks up.
It was precious. And I’m so grateful some folks took video. I’ll cherish it forever.
