- EA College Football 25 has our expectations at a level we've never seen before for a sports game and I don't know if we ever will again. The game looks so fluid and user friendly on and off the field. In this video, I break down all the things I saw that I liked and some of the things that I want to see more of before making a decision. All in all, this game looks like the real deal.
As someone who been down on Madden since Madden 13. I still actually had hope for this game since they been working on it for years and dang I’m still blown away from everything we been seeing leading up to it release.
You’re not lying saying this could be the best football game ever.
Next week really can’t come soon enough.
I try not to be hyperbolic when I talk about this game, but I genuinely think it’s got that potential right now. Everything I hear just instills more confidence.
@@BryceTinsonHey as someone who been either playing or following a lot of sport games it’s honestly not as much as a stretch despite some people might push back on such a statement.
But I be satisfied with being better than anything Madden have been giving us at worst.
Do you plan on doing a dynasty/rtg series when the game comes out? You seem to be really knowledgeable about the sport and I have been loving your content so far.

THE best sports game of all time is kind of crazy it probably won't be that for me but honestly I am preordering a physical version for this game because despite never playing a college sports game before (besides the 14 demo when i was younger) because my hype is through the roof. I don't really have much concerns for the game. Some are scared for rtg but I'll probably never touch it so I'm good there. As far as gameplay goes the last madden I played was 19 and running in that game felt so stiff. I'm hoping that this game feels more free flowing and a little loose. The celebration system is nice it's like fifa sorta. As far as customization goes I think its enough for now and hopefully in the future we can do more with it. as someone that holds madden 12 & 08 close to my heart I don't really know how teambuilder works and I'd prefer it being within the game but have a create a team option is goated regardless. most of the negativity I've is unreasonable, its a revival of a series i think EA deserves a chance with this (coming from a modern madden hater and someone that thinks the fifa games are going cold) if its bad then next year we can bring all the negativity and skepticism we want with 26. I don't even actively watch college football but im hype and ive got my own ideas to make this as fun for me as possible. suggestions for a dynasty of a team that's mid or solid will be appreciated, as someone whos never done a dynasty diving in headfirst with a 1 star small school is overwhelming I'd rather take over a mid/solid to pretty good school so i can learn the mode. I'm wondering what schools fit that mold but all this yapping was to say I'm hype and damn it they got my preorder 😭
Good news on your last point! I’ve got a few videos discussing some of those mid level teams. I know best ever seems like a lot, but the amount of detail and the depth of presentation is amazing. I genuinely think it has that potential.
@@BryceTinson hey maybe it does and I'm rooting for that but I personally with all the things they could add next year 26 could really be the goat (for the series at least) trusting that 25 turns out amazing first so it can build off of it ofc.
If madden 19 is the last Madden you’ve played you’ve missed a lot and are far behind, assuming it was next gen.
Madden 24 is by far the best gameplay wise since next gen was introduced. And I’d imagine CFB 25 is only better it’s the closest we will have to that old gen feel on the sticks judging from the videos on CFB 25 gameplay I watched today. Be cautiously optimistic I promise your mind will be blown
@@smercxz well technically I played a little bit of 23 but 19 was the last one I played extensively and I assume by far behind you mean with how the gameplay moves, feels, and functions?
@@nahhboiisc1499 Yea that’s exactly what I mean. It’s come a long way on next gen, I wasn’t a fan when they first introduced next gen madden but it’s going in the right direction. CFB 25 already went public saying the game will be faster than Madden 25. So assuming how the gameplay is improving for Madden each year I would say my expectations for CFB 25 are fairly high because I liked Madden 24 outside of the patches they did for coverages and things like that the gameplay itself is some of the best we had.

I played Madden 25 beta it plays the same way just not as fast. It’s the boom tech that they’re only promoting in madden 25 and you’re seeing it first in CFB 25. College is going to be better because of the amount of teams and pageantry.
That’s what I’ve heard. Haven’t played the beta or even seen more than a few clips so I can’t comment on that
I wish they used the frost bite engine from madden 13
That engine was definitely outdated, but I did like the feel of it.

My one concern is the game may play too fast. It looks impossible to tackle. There were a few times defenders were right on the RB and somehow the RB simply got away
I think that was more user error than anything, but it’s definitely something we’ll have to keep an eye on.
Can we coach games in dynasty mode like in ncaa 14? You pick the play and the cpu runs it
I’m not sure, but my guess is they kept it. We’ll have to wait and see

I think they dis some speed ramping edits after the slow motion...They game should be fast but notthat fast. That TE was moving after the catch
That tight end actually has some speed though. We’ll have to see how other teams’ tight ends look, but the Michigan tight ends they showed in the game are fast in real life so it makes sense.
This year’s EA CFB game look like…well…EVERY OTHER EA FOOTBALL GAME EVER.

@@BryceTinson you can be excited all you want. But to say this gameplay is going to be elite can only be prefaced in EA terms which is historically terrible.
Only thing I dont love is how agreesive the we and tear is. Dude shouldnt be dropping 7 speed from some average in game hits. The passing stats Ewers has lost from just a couple sacks was extreme aswell.
You're able to turn it off in offline dynasty so that's nice.
Yeah it looked like it didn’t take much to start feeling the effects, which if that’s actually the case come game release, I’m sure they can fix it. Hopefully it isn’t too detracting from gameplay because I love the idea of it.

It’s not broken because you can actually use it. We’ll obviously have to wait and see, but I don’t think broken is the right word.

EA Will never make anything worthy of greatest ever they are a pos corporation that only cares to sell ultimate team packs.this game offers a breathe of fresh air as everyone is tired of the mediocre madden product.they ramped the speed up for a sim-cade experience which should make it more “fun”than Madden however we will see plenty of similarities and I can promise you post launch nothing but card packs and monetization will matter

I think by the end of it, this will be the best sports game ever made. The detail in gameplay, menus, presentation, game modes is something like we’ve never seen before. Something feels special about this game

@TrentonAmani95 Listen 2K5 is top 3, right? Most would even say #1. But it's still not a perfect game. No game ever will be. I have gone back and played that game, for I can't even guess how many hours in my life, owned it 3 times lmao. but every time I went back and played it the older it got , I noticed where it lacked. Things like the weekly show with chris, The run and blocking game, are today still the best things done by a football game to this day. Especially the espn weekly show top presentation. But let's be honest. Playbooks are really bad. I mean bad bad. The gameplay, while most fun and good, the passing could be so wonky sometimes, not to mention how linebackers could jump in the air and pick something absolutely ridiculous like Superman lol. The whole scouting function in franchise was boring. Plus the graphics cant hold up to what we can see and do today while that's not huge for most its till note worthy. The game is good, but it forsure has its problems. With what I have seen this game do presentation wise, gameplay wise, game mode wise, and graphics wise, it has the chance to be the best football game ever.k

Madden Beta has better physics than this game. Game speed is not good in this game. It's too fast. Watch how fast their legs move. It's arcade-like. Defense looks bad in the game as well. But that could be player skill. Outside that, gameplay looks good
I disagree. I love the game speed. It’s a video game. I would rather have my players feel a bit too fast than a bit too slow which is how they feel in Madden. And I disagree with the physics being better in Madden, although I’ve only seen clips of the beta, nothing extensive. The defense you saw in the video was lack of skill.
@@BryceTinson trust me, i played the beta. Physics are much improved. Of course you get some wonky tackles at times, but it's a bit better than what i've seen so far in this game.
There are others who also think the game speed is not for them as well. Just watch how fast those bitty legs work on the game lmao!! It's cool though. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you have fun w it that's all that matters. It's a bit odd looking and quick for my taste. I just hope they put something in to be able to adjust the speed like old Madden's had.
@@BryceTinson someone just pointed out to me that it's sped up in the cfb25 video as bordeaux has additional gameplay of what they skipped and is a little slower. It kinda does look like it when i watched his version?? I just dont know why EA would speed up their video??
