A common practice is to adjust the trip spring tension so that you can fit a business card in between each coil. Just passing that on for consideration if you do another video. Thanks for sharing your project. We all learn something by watching these videos.
Why didn't you remove those bolts and put another large nut on the inside as you said other ones have??? It seems as if it would make sure that the bolts don't end up elongating the holes that the bolts fit through and would also just overly secure the whole bolt/spring setup. Something else I noticed, with your winch located so high, wouldn't it be better and easier on your winch and winch parts for you to add a pulley rig system so your cable isn't at such a drastic angle when lifting your plow???
Thanks for watching the video. The plow is a pretty light duty one. The nuts on the springs would definitely be a help. As for the winch the plow isn't that heavy but doubling up the cable with a pulley would make it easier for it to pickup the plow. Thanks again for watching! 🍪

Is another adjustment that allows the blade to lay back and make it cut with more down pressure. Do you see it?
This plow doesn't have that adjustment, but others who watch the video may. Thanks for your comment!
@@KirkAllenOutdoorAdventures yep it does have it i can see it on the vid.
Rotate the small squares on either side. Located below each spring.
Cool, Going to make the adjustment and see how it goes. Thanks again for the info. May put another video out on it. Ok to mention you?
