1952 was the year my Dad (rip) arrived in the Canal Zone. He retired 40 years later in 1992. Our mailbox # at the Balboa Post Office was Box #432. Love these pics. Lots of fond memories. 😊
Thanks for posting, but I must point out a small error. This film footage is from 1953 not 1952. In the scene showing the Balboa theater, the movie showing is Against All Flags, which was not released in the United States until December 24th 1952. Also in film footage posted by CriticalPast entitled United States Army Headquarters at Fort Amador in Panama the same camera slate is shown and the date is 2 July 53.
