  • Date: 4-02-2014 - Day 45 of treatment for a Grade 4 Astrocytoma also called a Glioblastoma Multiforme. So what do we do on a normal day? Alicia finally got a massage which she was overdue for. We ate some Ramen in honor of our friend in the fight Robin. Alicia gives you a tour of the house we are still trying to find a way to buy. Please subscribe to follow us on our journey to beating this brain tumor named Dwight.

your video made me think about the kids song we sing sometimes... when up your up, when your down your down, when you only half way up, your neither up nor down :) complete with motions. Glad you had a 'feel better' day! Pray for more and more of those.

The house is awesome, love the high ceilings and the layout!
I've learned 16 months ago when my sister was diagnosed with GBM Multiforme that I needed to change my thought process. I've always had a tendency to jump into the future until GBM day when my physical and mental state forced me to collect my thoughts and relax. "One day at a time"! Sure, I've heard that statement before but never took it seriously. Well it turned out to be my lifeline; who knew? You obviously don't need help in that area; you are amazing and your patience is even more amazing. Your spirituality is contagious and your gift is in teaching; maybe part of God's plan, not sure. I found you by typing in GBM in hopes of learning as much as possible about this beast. Instead You both taught me what a real relationship looks like, patience and acceptance; much more fun by the way.
Anyway, maybe you guys need to get that house, make it livable and once you settle in, you can slowly finish it up, visualize the whole picture but take your time getting there, just like your cure.
Again, those stupid and meaningless little words (so I thought) "One day at a time" helped me for the 1st time in my life not have this need to plan every little detail of my future, and by doing that, I've learned to live in the day and appreciate the little things. It's just unfortunate that it took my sister's GBM to figure it out.
You're all doing great and it's your attitudes that will lead to all of your accomplishments in life. Well, with God by your side of course :)

I had a friend that passed from the same thing. Your videos helped me to understand what he went through. I am sure your videos have helped a lot of people. I am sure she is with the lord and waiting for her son and husband to show up.

My grandmother had a pink bathroom exactly like that... I got a little nostalgic seeing one in your video. :-) I would love a house with a blank slate so I could my "magic touch" on it. I hope it works out for you!!!

I thought she beat this when I googled it. Either this tumor came back with a vengeance or it was a sudden death like a pulmonary embolism
