tvN•Mnet 뮤직드라마 '몬스타'의 세 번째 OST '아틀란티스 소녀'가 공개된다.
'아틀란티스 소녀'의 원곡은 보아 곡으로 밝고 소녀다운 느낌의 댄스 곡. 지난 31일(금)에 방송된 '몬스타' 3회에서 어쿠스틱 느낌으로 재탄생되어 소개됐다. 강하늘(정선우 역)의 첫 사랑이 하연수(민세이 역)라는 비밀이 밝혀지는 회상 신에서 등장한 것으로 과거와 현재를 이어주는 브릿지(다리)역할을 해준 곡이다. 어린 하연수 역의 김초은이 부르던 노래를 고등학생이 된 강하늘과 하연수가 이어 부르며 세 사람의 하모니가 돋보였던 노래다. '엠넷 보이스키즈' 출신의 김초은의 맑은 음색, 청아한 하연수의 음색, 부드럽고 감미로운 강하늘의 음색이 자연스럽게 어울리며, 강하늘의 첫 사랑을 떠올리기에 더없이 좋았던 노래였다.
특히, '엠넷 보이스키즈'에서 끼와 재능을 인정받은 김초은이 타고난 리듬감과 맑은 음색을 뽐냈으며, 그동안 첼로연주만 선보였던 뮤지컬배우 출신 강하늘이 처음으로 노래하는 모습으로도 화제를 모았다. 여기에 뮤즈 하연수의 청아한 목소리가 밤하늘에 울려 퍼지며, 첫사랑의 설렘과 감동을 잘 전달했다.
이 곡은 음원계의 숨은 강자 인디밴드 '제이레빗'이 편곡을 맡아 더욱 기대를 모으고 있다. 원곡 댄스곡을 어쿠스틱 느낌으로 재해석한 것으로 제이레빗 특유의 달콤한 감성이 잘 묻어났다. '제이레빗'은 몬스타의 여주인공 하연수(민세이 역)를 위해 원곡의 청량함과 극의 분위기를 잘 조합한 몬스타 버전의 '아틀란티스 소녀'를 탄생시켰다.
Three girls, Ha Yeon Soo, Gang Ha Neul, and Kim Cho Eun, gather to release the song 'Atlantis Girl.' J.Rabbit has participated in the song arrangement. It is the third original track for the new drama 'Monsta' on tvN. The song was introduced last Friday on the episode 3 of the drama. It was played in the scene where the secret was revealed that Jung Sun Woo had a crush on Min Se Hee.

It started out very promisingly...I loved the concept of healing through music, and I loved Se Yi's compassion and backbone. But then they dropped so many story lines, dropped the focus, and did stupid thing after stupid thing...
One drama whose writing I LOVE--almost all the surprises are good ones, plots appear, stories develop instead of disappearing--is School 2013. It's vying with Faith and Rooftop Prince for my very favourite drama.

This was such a good drama. It had such a great story. The way all of the colorbar members had their own issues. It would have been so amazing if they had stuck with the original concept and made the drama longer. It was very short and rushed. It was still good, but I feel like it could have been a lot better. Don't even get me started on the ending.. ._.
Let's hope that Mnet & tvN will consider the production of Monstar season 2 :) Maybe unsolved things in Monstar will be solved well in the second season. I also expect the same casts, PD, writer-nim... will be kept instead of changing.
