My armrest and backing move on this chair constantly. If I lean on the armrest to get up from the chair the armrest basically moves all the down and if I even slightly lean back on the chair the back of the chair moves along with the armrest. I watched another video on assembly and the lady in the video had 4 round thick washers which didn't come in my package. I tried to fix the issue 2-3 times, taking the screws apart and assembling again to no avail. I'm sending it back today.

I missed the cut off date to return it and when I showed the company (with photos) how the back has a huge gap between the seat, they blamed me for faulty installation (the salt in the wound for me - as I was meticulous and careful about putting it together piece by piece as they suggested). Some companies just want your money, and Dowinx is one of them. I will make sure that my negative experience costs them more than the $250 the chair cost, which is headed to the Dump ASAP.

This was such a great video find as someone who’s looking at maybe buying the chair.
Do you think the chair would be structurally sturdy without attaching the arm rests? I worry that the fixed height is too high for my desk. But I really like the ivory colour and they’re not offering that in the new version with the adjustable arm rests.

About the arm rest, I believe the chair should still retain it's sturdiness BUT you'll have 4 bolts poking out of the sides of the chair which would be an eye sore. More importantly though, when you push the chair to a "lie down" position, the arm rests are almost essential. I'd feel off balance without those. Truth be said, my chair was also a bit high for my desk so I just use it at the lowest height and that solved my problem. At the lowest height, the arms are at 24-25 inches high from the ground. You could measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of your desk and use that to decide. Hope that helps😊

Anyone have issues with the Back Rest Lever not working. I just got mine today and the lever just will not tilt backwards! Very frustrating especially after shipping messed up and it came 3 days late.!! NEWEGG of course!

Did you have issues with the screws being too short on the plastic side pieces? I can’t get mine to screw in :(
Yea, I remember having some issues with one of the side screws. It wouldn't cooperate initially so I had to use a little persuasive force. It finally caught the threads on the screws.
Where do we attach the usb portion

I just use a portable battery and it works fine for me!

Hows the comfort? Did u have to break it in?
It is comfortable, yes. And yes, I did need to break it in a bit. I usually sit in the chair for about 10-12 hours a day/ 3 hours at a stretch and I have no complaints.
Do you recommend this chair?
Absolutely. However, you need to be willing to do the assembly bit. Took me about 45 mins to complete the assembly. In terms of comfort, I love it and I'm glad I got this one! The massage function is not true massage like in a massage chair rather a vibration massage. That said, it is quite strong and I do use it pretty regularly. Hope that helps ❤️
