So fascinating!! And I love how positive and matter of fact you both are. In March of 2017 I lost a boy in the second trimester. In March of 2018 I started to see an RE, and my SO and I discussed the possibility of us not having any more children. And this year, 12 days ago, I gave birth to a baby boy! My RE said that even though my AMH was low my FSH was perfect, and my problem was that I was just not very good at ovulating. I did not have to go the IVF route, I did Femara + a trigger shot of 10,000 units of pregnyl (HCG). My shots came in a package of two and cost $50 after insurance. I used both shots, the first one ended in a chemical, and the second was my successful pregnancy. Good luck to both of you, I wish you so much success on your journey!
One thing to keep and mind and also bring up with your drs is that fact that some times the sperm can have fragmented DNA, however, you have to specifical test for that. Sperm fragmentation is not automatically analyzed during the standard sperm analyze testing. If you can afford it, I would recommend ruling that out now to avoid potentially "wasting" an IVF cycle OR just be proactive NOW and incorporate a diet that reduces/lowers sperm fragmentation now prior to egg retrieval and fertilization.
God bless you! Prayers baby 3 is coming soon😊 I really appreciate your videos. They are very informative, thank you! It is really awesome that you guys are willing to share details. It is so helpful for others who might need to go this path. Thank you and best of luck 😊❤
@Tasha, What insurance are you using? Some time back you were going to look into the State Exchange because your company's insurance went up by 200$? If you used state, what website did you use?
I'm planning on getting IUI next year to be a single mother by choice and the place I'm going to require that I see a psychiatrist before they'll continue (to make sure I'm not going in unprepared, I suppose). Did your place ask you to do anything similar?
Wow IVF is such an intriguing process! Medical science is amazing! So happy for you two and wishing you all nothing but the best! I LOVE your stories on Instagram!!
I don't know a lot about fertility (anything really) but based on what you guys said about both your numbers being normal-high I'm a bit confused on why you're doing IVF? Is there a reason you're not trying for another child "naturally" for longer?
Watch the first video. They have been trying for a long time and also had to try a long time for Reeves. I think after one year you are are officially thought infertile even if all the numbers are great.
Love that y'all are documenting your journey!! I was curious what insurance carrier you are with? I have tried to find one that would pay for some of the IVF or even just the testing.
I think last video I posted about no period yet, anyway I got a referral finally to a fertility clinic (after some OB based off one test said I went through menopause even though my son is 18 months, I had no issues getting pregnant with him, no symptoms of it, no medical history indicating it and I'm 30).
I'm pro-genetic testing. My brother and I have HHT or Osler-Weber rendu syndrome which is a rare blood disorder that causes spontaneous bleeding throughout the body. Luckily my pediatrician caught it early, but it's still not well known and treatment isn't wildly available. If you can save your children from genetic disorders, I say that's a good thing.
Thanks for sharing. However, I do not understand why Joseph is not getting genetic testing. If he was a carrier for something wont there be a chance of it passing down to your kids?
Typically, in order for a genetic disorder to affect a child, they'd need to inherit two defective genes. So if they test the mom and don't find any genetic mutations, then they know that the child will have at least one healthy gene for the child to inherit. They would only test Joseph if I'd tested positive for something because then the child could inherit the disease if Joseph also has the same mutation. If Joseph does have any hereditary genetic mutations then at worst our child will be a carrier, which won't affect them until they go to have children of their own.--Tasha
@@OneBigHappyLife OK thanks. I was wondering. For example, sickle cell trait (which Joseph is probably unlikely to have) can be passed on and can cause some health concerns. Situations like that make me question why the male partner isn't tested as well.
I wish you guys the best! How does it feel going through the process a second time? We are about to start trying for baby #2 also, it feels different going through it the second time, I can’t really explain the feeling.
Wishing you the best. I think I need to go back and watch the earlier video. I'm not following why you are doing IVF when you both tested in the normal ranges. Or maybe I missed something on this video
Jeun4 not in the US, unless it is medical, they aren’t allowed to check for sex until a certain point in development due to regulation. It is the same law for “natural” (non-ivf) pregnancies. When it comes to reproduction, we are a highly regulated country. I think it comes from fear.
I love your transparency, openness and attitude towards everything. You just demystify a lot of things . Good lucky on this journey .

You're willingness to discuss these details is admirable, and I'm sure this helps a lot of people. Great job!

Thanks Christie! I'm glad you find it helpful.--Tasha
Good luck! We started our IVF journey in 2017 and now have our 5 month old IVF miracle twins♥️. It’s a tough process, but it’s totally worth it!

Thank you for sharing something so private and difficult for most families to share. I really appreciate it.
Sending prayers and blessings as the both of you go through the IVF process. Thanks for being so transparent and honest. Love you guys.

They have one already ;-)
I hope everything goes well! Is there any chance in having multiples? I’ve heard that it can happen with ivf and taking fertility medication

So, I haven’t started watching this video quite yet, but the colors you two are wearing today are amazing!! You both look 🔥 in this video 😍

My HSG test hurt so bad. However, I had an open myomectomy which made me more sensitive in that area. Thank You for sharing your journey with us!
Prayers for success either naturally or through IVF
Well, for now the natural conception ship has sailed. I've already started the IVF cycle.--Tasha
Awesome 👏🏽 much luck to your Family ❤️
Please Order a set of twins 👯♀️

Cool, I am starting my BC this month. Its a very confusing process.
Good Luck on your journey, maybe you will be pregnant soon 😃😃
I press my fingers for you!!!!!!!! Everything will going great. I believe you will having a baby, soon (or two?😊) God bless you🙏🙏🙏❤
It sounds like both of you are fairly fertile. I apologize if I missed it, but do you know what isn't working perfectly?
We don't know.--Tasha
Could you talk more about how u did genetic testing Tasha? I want to do the same before getting pregnant
It was a simple blood test. Maybe check with your Ob/Gyn about getting tested before you get pregnant?--Tasha
One Big Happy Life ok. Thanks!

I am now imagining rats wearing tiny underwear.
Do you prefer a certain gender? With the chromosomal testing you can choose right?

Hi there,
You were correct...It is radioactive dye that they inject.😊
Try for twins!!!!
I'm honestly wondering...you guys already have 2 kids. Why not adopt? Why not foster?
They want biological children. The end.
