james, i try to swing up and down along those red lines you drew and try to keep my lower body a bit still but it does move dynamicly with the movement of the arms and hands. i can't do alot of lower body torqueing because of my age [70] and overall movement restrictions but i can get along quite well.
...Thanks for the great analysis.... One question... How does Zack prevent coming over the top on the downswing given that he has a short backswing?? Thanks!
Hi Chris, A short backswing doesn't mean you'll come over the top coming down. If you're coming over the top, I'd start sliding your hips more towards the target coming down and try and keep the club head behind your hands longer if you can.. Thanks for the comment
Side tilting away from the target 21:40. ...good description for keeping the hips slightly in front of shoulders at impact and FT... but all this fwd lean, LSB left, back to fwd lean, LSB right ... and now tilting away from the target thru impact whilst maintaining LSB right...I'm gonna get hurt !! lol
+Colm Griffin If you're stuck it may be because you're not regaining flexion. Watch this video and let me know how you get on.. ua-cam.com/video/l3kvXYOwQMk/v-deo.html
I obtained these golf swing stra tegies , Jοmtοnο Naha (Go ogle it), read it in a single night, and the next day at the driving range put it into practice. I was immediately taking correct divots with my irons, properly after strong impact. I arrived at 10-15 yards more distance than the standard distance I have with my irons. Get your own now!
GREAT swing review! A lot of good info here for golfers of all abilities
