Best of luck. I hope this is the start of great things to come. The stronger every CFL team is, the better for our cities and the league. Great hire! Welcome back Mr. Hervey.

Welcome home. As fans from back in the five on a row days we are super excited to have you back. It’s been really hard to be an EE fans this last while that started when you were unjustly fired. Take two let’s go 💚💛💚💛

As a season tix holders, myself and the rest of our group are going to reserve judgement on this appointment and the pieces you are going to put in place. Focus on putting a winning team on the field. Winning solves a lot of problems. The CFL needs two very strong and winning Alberta football teams. As CFL fan I am excited for what the Elks will offer us in the 2025 season. #stampsfaninyeg

Btw sign Ford. Please make the football experience at the stadium fun again. It has gotten dull and boring.

Do you have a fabulous kicker with Dean, absolutely! Let the Englishman do his thing and get him off the practice squad. He can kick 60 yard field goals and beyond if given the chance

Welcome back Ed. Unfortunately the name change will not draw me back. Change the name back to the Eskimos and you'll be playing in front of full houses again

I could care less about the name change anymore. I cheer for Edmonton.

@@Chelsify When I worked up in Nunavut I talked with some of the folks up there and none of them had a problem with the Eskimo name. The name was changed to appeal to the Woke mafia. If you could "care less" about it chances are you're not a hardcore fan.

The limited data available suggests more Inuit people supported keeping the name than changing it. However, it was big business that forced the decision, not a “woke mafia.” Sponsors told the League they’d withdraw their support if the current situation continued. This brought an end to the consultation process. The name change was forced because wealthy executives thought they could determine for Inuit people what was in their best interest, which is a racist perspective, not a woke one.
