This my friend is a massive understatement.
For anyone interested, the rhythm guitar part that starts at 2:10 is in 7/4 and the rhythm is 1 . . . . e . . . e . . . . & . . . . a . . . a . . & .
Grouping 16th notes, it would be 5 4 5 5 4 3 2.
Snare pattern starts on the 'a' of 1 and hits every seventh 16th note after until the end of the measure. A few variations though.
I'm trying to transcribe this rn, thanks for saving me XD

"Damar" for Javanese people in Indonesia is an object that produces light such as lights, usually used for learning in the past.
& In my opinion, the music in this song also has the same meaning as it 😁👏
It's been a couple of years since I listened to this song regularly. My life is very different to what it was back then and I tend to forget myself. Every time I listen to this song it pulls me back to a time of genuine joy and optimism for life. A time of carelessness and recklessness but a time filled with great memories and a spirit I hope to reignite one day. I'm on a path worth fighting for now and the memories I made listening to this masterpiece is one I do and always will remember fondly. Crazy how time flies, I still remember my first listen of “Who Bit The Moon” and the stupor inducing epiphanies it invoked within me. I’m now looking back and realising how many pieces within it are favourites of mine to this day. Songs like: Beaver Moon, When She Crafts, Who Bit The Moon and this track Damar, each incredible. David creates soundtracks of life.
Man, from the writing, performance, and production of the music to the filming and editing of the video, this has to be one of the most impressive one-man creations I've ever seen. Astounding work, as always :)

Just watched three drum covers and fell in love with this song. It sets such a mood.
Your music is so powerful that can remind me of some periods of my life in which I used to listen to it, and some others in which I did not know it already.
