This is late. Channie got criticized for nothing. Channie is actually hitting those high notes here. Plus Woojin too.

There are people criticizing Chan and Woojin coz they skipped high notes/risky parts on the broadcasted one.
No, Chan DID skip the high notes. And Woojin DID mess up. It's the backing track. Backing track from an audience's point of view is all that they hear. Whereas im the broadcasts, they take the actual recording of the performance and layer it on, which is what happened in this case. It's not a bad thing that they lipsynced it, though. Chan is not capable of doing that kind of note yet. There was one performance where he did the high notes, though, and they sounded forced and unstable. And Woojin has always been critisized for his vocals. He is an AMAZING vocalist, but he has yet to excel in switching from falsetto and straight back.
And if you can't hear Chan's voice cutting off right before the high note to show that he skipped it, then you have hearing problems..

But doing it while dancing SO HARD and out of breath is what make them sound like they cut it

Hitting those high notes every day for a long debut promotions can ruin their vocals when they just started

Every day at music shows at least they go 2 rehearsals and 3 recordings
Sometimes become 6 times performing for 1 show while no sleep and and exhausted
I don't know what the BIG deal about hitting those high notes live when we all know THEY CAN do it and there is LOT of proves out there if you wanna check
As I know how talented they are skipping a high note to take care for their vocals is not something that need an essay everyday
STRAYGOTWICEDAY || Yes, Woojin did most of it. But not very well. Even many fans were commenting, noticing he skipped some of the falsetto bits. Yes, Woojin sings it like that to take care of his voice because he cannot properly excel at it. I know how the rehearsals and performances works. That's how every idol does it, and they are fine. Chan did not do the high notes in this performance, but he did in another performance. Maybe you don't know yet, but I'm *constantly* commenting on their performance videos worrying about their voices. It's nothing to get pressed over. He really didn't do the high note and that's fucking fine.
And yes, Chan can hit the note. Just not well. And not in every performance. And that's completely ok.
