A little story about Honda with a big heart from Mariupol! One day, a Honda appeared in our family. She was beautiful, beautiful, concise and very practical. My Honda drove me to work, to the store, to pick up children from school, we just went on vacation with her and my Honda was with me and my family always and everywhere! Years passed, but I did not sell it and did not want another car. My beautiful Honda CR-V has become a member of our family! But war came to my city, Mariupol. It was rightly said once - war never changes. The Russian invasion of Mariupol (Ukraine) was the most terrible part of our whole life! Our city was bombed by Russian planes, destroyed by Russian artillery, Russian tanks fired at houses - it was hell on earth. We hid in an underground garage in Mariupol, together with our Honda, and we survived. When there were breaks between shelling, we drove out in our Honda, quickly drove around neighboring houses at high speed, pulling the wounded from under the ruins of houses, provided first aid to people, drove to get water and returned to our shelter again. Our Honda saved our lives, it also saved many lives of civilians, whom we took out of the line of fire! Once, we stopped near a destroyed house, people screamed from the basement, we got out of the car and approached the destroyed house to pull people out of the rubble of the house and bandage their wounds (we always had bandages and antiseptics with us). And at that moment a mine flew in, which fell very close. I turned around and saw that all the windows in my Honda flew out and shattered, the car jumped in place, but resisted. My husband and I came closer and saw that the entire left side of our Honda was pierced by fragments from a mine, and the largest fragment was five centimeters from the gas tank! We are numb with fear. It was a shock! But, we helped people get out from under the rubble, and we also had to leave the line of fire as soon as possible. We approached our Honda, opened the car doors, very quickly shattered glass fragments from the front seats (there were a lot of glass fragments inside too) and sat inside. My husband took the car key in his hand and said: if we start the engine now and the car does not explode, then Honda is the most reliable car in the whole world! And she wound up and came to life from the first seconds! We drove to our underground garage and hid there with our Honda. Our beloved Honda saved us again! When we returned to our shelter, we began to restore the car as best we could: they cleaned all the glass fragments inside the cabin well and cleanly, pulled out and threw away all the metal fragments of the mine that damaged our Honda, sealed all the windows with cellophane and adhesive tape (since we have other material did not have). And so, after a few weeks, we managed to leave the city of Mariupol, and again in our Honda, she again saved us and took us away from the war! Even after such an explosion, the car continued to drive and save us! The car accommodated: me, my husband, our two sons, four of our dogs, and eight bags with our things! And she was driving! Our beloved Honda continued to drive and took us to a safe place! We arrived in Georgia (I mean Georgia as a country near Russia), there are high mountains, we entered Georgia at night, it was heavy rain! And she was driving! After such an explosion in Mariupol, with windows sealed with cellophane, Honda continued to live and save us! With four passengers, four dogs and loads of bags, through winding passes over high mountains, she kept taking us! Arriving in Tbilisi, we restored our Honda as best we could - put new windows ... we could not remove the holes on the right side of the car body (from mine fragments). We needed to move on. And together with our Honda we went further! We drove through the huge mountains of Turkey, drove into the narrow streets of Istanbul at night, drove to Greece, and there are mountains again (and the car is heavily loaded) and she is driving! After Greece, we went through Bulgaria, Romania (the mountains there are just terrible and dangerous!) Then we drove through Hungary (and mountains there again), then we drove through Slovenia and entered Poland! And now we are in Poland! Our beloved Honda drove with us 7000 km, loaded, through the mountains, after being tested by such an explosion (in Mariupol)! She endured it all and saved our lives! Yes, Honda is the most reliable car on this planet! I'm talking to the Honda company - is our Honda car worthy of being in the Honda Museum in Japan? I think yes! Do you have another car that saved people in Mariupol during the Russian invasion of Ukraine? I'm sure not. So please do it!
