I have a theory; Before goldie died, she said "Is this how i will die *again*?" saying that it may now be the first death of hers. originally, pretty blood is making torture as entertainment and EXPERIMENTING. so it may be possible that goldie was one of the victims who was tortured on and experimented before dying. and in her new life, she may just joined the company instead because others persuaded her or her sanity was rotting.
but thats just a theory :)

There's way more torture and horrific stuff in it, and I get if you didn't feel like adding that all, but I think it takes away from the whole theme of this entirely.
