Ive been playing around with Arduinos, but this thing looks like a beast, how friendly is it to new comers? and i am assuming the online community is not as wide speard as the Arduino?
excuse me, i have a question please, i wanna use this fpga for my experiment, but i want to know something, i want an optical output, i have an electrical to optical converter, but which output port i have to use ?? can you help me in this please.
I know it is a late answer, but here it is: 1. in the top-right window ("Hierarchy" in the video, in older versions that is missing and it only says "Sources for" and a drop-down list) select the UCF file (let's call it ); 2. In the window below the title should change to "Processes for: "; 3. Expand the "User Constraints" node and double-click on "Edit Constraints (Text)"; 4. The file should open in the built-in text editor;

Will the original NEXYS work with this software?
my ucf file is not opening on creation? is there another way to open it?
