To be fair, the first solos of Chloe and Maddie were essentially the same solos done to different music anyway. Not exactly a reason to change costumes when you’re doing the same solo. ETA: actually, the entire first season was everyone’s solos done to different music.
There is nothing wrong with reusing costumes especially for different competitions. I actually think it is a good idea to reuse dance costumes because they are expensive so if they reuse them they don’t have to buy new costumes all the time which would get super expensive
hey just letting you know, that chloes solo "baby mine" was originally called "ma hes making eyes at me" with that music , and then they had to change the song and dance for the show it often happened if you hear them announce that their solos on in a couple of minutes its often a different name and sometiems even costume, not entirely sure why. christi mentioned it on her youtube channel i believe when she was rating her top 20 chloe solos
@@ttpdTV09 a lot of the time the dances were named after the song or a part of the song so it wouldnt make sense to keep the old name if it wasnt in the lyrics anymore (there could be other reasons i js dont know)

Chloe’s Baby Mine is Ma He’s Making Eyes At Me Nias You Do is Waka Waka Brookes Break Me is Never Neverland Brookes Starry Night is Pull of The Moon Maddie’s Cry is Somewhere Over The Rainbow Maddie’s A Cappella is USO Show Mackenzie’s Kids Dance Pop is Mousetrap Mackenzie Superstar is an off show solo
Yup. The entirety of season 1 consists of their old solos, just done to different music. Look at the videos done on this channel and compare. You’ll find they’re identical. The show was only suppose to have been a six episode documentary but the mom drama made it super popular so they had to reuse old solos that the kids already knew to air for the first season before spending the break before season 2 learning new dances and stuff.
@@mindyschocolate “10 seconds” ? Ha that’s a laugh, Paige’s solo went from 2:10 to 1:40, Chloe’s solo went from 2:20 to 1:58, Nia’s solo went from 2:20 to 2:00 and Kenzie’s went from 2:20 to 1:50, so it’s not the same solo lmao, btw I said a little bit not the entire routine, read correctly first then you can criticize
Watching this makes me realize just how typecast Nia was. I knew Abby would only give her ethnic roles but I never knew how many ethnic roles. It's just so wrong. Nia was and is an amazing dancer but to give her waka waka which was for the world cup in Africa and then an Indian snake charmer, it's so utterly wrong.
It wasn’t the costumes that were reused, it was the choreography. They had to set the routines to different music due to copyrights for the show. They changed some to accommodate different tempos but 90% of the solo choreography from the first season was almost exactly the same as the solos from the previous year. Paige forgot her solo the first season because the music was different. She had that solo from the year before.

What about Chloe’s mother solo on episode 4

Mackenzie’s costume in snake charmer is reused from what’s new at the zoo
Yeah, but I am doing Dance Moms dances first before I get into the ones outside the show :)
Actually What’s New At the Zoo was after Snake Charmer so it’s the other way around.
@@rileyywhited yep
@@LoomerE but alot of these dances arent all on the show

yes i totally agree, this person is just connecting the dots
4:45 this one was also used for Hellen Keller
They were doing pre show dances not dances after the episode was filmed
No thats a new costume
@Vanillaaciie it’s quite literally the same thing as Disappear
Somewhere over the rainbow/Cry reminded me of Cinderella
Same
@@boutiquealdc the costume was nearly identical to cinderellas
i think its supposed to be dorothy from the wizard of oz hence over the rainbow

its because of copyrighted music so they often had to change the solo songs!!

You forgot the episode 1 season 1 when Maddie Chloe and Paige did their trio pin up girls with same costumes but different music

Will you be doing other seasons as well?
Yes!
Lommere did Mackenzie win of the show with mouse trap in the mini division
She did not, but she placed 2nd before the show at Dance Educators of America!

Most of these solos were the same but with different music

First. Loved the video!!
Costumes are expensive! They range from 120-350 without the rhinestones which could be another $100
Most of these are the same dances different music
