- This address is dedicated to four cities of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Kyiv, Severodonetsk and Kryvyi Rih. And through them - to our whole state, to all our cities and communities. The unity I saw with my own eyes in Kharkiv. The heroism our soldiers in Donbas show every day. The determination of Kryvyi Rih. This is our path. The path to ensure that the peace of life is always felt throughout Ukraine and that smiles always reign, not the roar of artillery, stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Russia has already lost not only the battle for Kharkiv, not only the battle for Kyiv and the north of our country. It lost its own future and any cultural ties to the free world. Having taken away our peace in 2014, the Russian occupiers want to take away everything else. Literally everything. They want to leave us neither freedom, nor houses, nor life.

The image of burned out buildings with broken windows facing the dark lands of Russia's world really cuts to the heart of the matter. Hold the line, Ukrainians! Remember you protect those you left behind in that better world. It's worth fighting for.
dark lands of Russia ? don't put all the Russian people in the same basket as Putin because you are making a grave mistake. some Russians live in Ukraine as Ukrainians you fool. its not worth fighting when the battle is already lost. more resisting equals more death and destruction the longer the Ukrainians resist the longer the bloodshed and destruction will last. we all know it is not fun to be under occupation but it is the lesser of the 2 evil between that or laying down you weapons which would at least stop the bloodshed and destruction. at least people would be able to go on with their normal lives and rebuild even under occupation. but this stupid human emotion we have called pride is getting ni the way and is costing human lives.

@@billmoretz8718 I think it’s important that we differentiate between “comedian” and “satirist” - and President Zelenskyy’s work illustrates some of the best satire I’ve ever seen. Comedy makes us laugh, without necessarily making us think, whereas satire directly goes after political corruption and sociocultural problems. Making us think and making us ACT are necessary to satire; satirists making us laugh is just a happy bonus.
What a leader Ukraine has in Zelensky despite uneducated comments from some about him being a comedian. He can easily be compared to other great leaders like Churchill and Roosevelt. Glory to Ukraine.
