The eruption in Holuhraun is still ongoing in the middle of nowhere, deep in the highlands of Iceland. It takes up to 4 hours to get to the eruption from the nearby farm, Modrudalur. There is nothing but a black sand in this area, and you need to depend on little road marker to get there.
